I'm not sure. A few months ago people claimed we'd see them on shelves by late October. Then I heard November was going to be the month. Now I'm hearing we may not see these figures until December.

Take this with the salt it deserves - Wiki claims Hasbro announced (at some point) that December 1st is their release date.

Taking that salt bag out of the picture, I'd want to think Hasbro would find it best to get them out on the shelves before (or on) Black Friday, as it's the biggest shopping day of the year and these toys are obviously geared for the Holiday season.

Supposedly they're being released Mid-November in Canada.

Supposedly 2012 for Europe. Post Christmas, very clever.

hasbro said at nycc look for wave one to hit at the end of january/beginning of february

however the op/megs 2pack was not shown as part of the first wave, neither was the deluxe arcee and starscream. and all the packages weve seen of these latter figs all had "first edition" printed on them, same as the nycc stuff. im betting were gonna get a "preview wave" or something. like a 4-way isle display at wal-mart or the like, in time for christmas. ide bank on them showing up around black friday.

Are you sure about that? That doesn't make much sense.

fast forward to about 14:00 and thats when they talk about it. wave one will be out around the begining of februrary, and feb is when they want the bulk of tf prime to take over toy shelves. but thats wave one 2012. again, im sure we will see the "first edition" wave very soon, again betting black friday

So when you said November, did you mean February?

I think he means that a preview wave will hit the shelfs around November and then in February tf prime will take dotm's spot.

Well, they say that the first edition is coming out around next month. Robotkingdom says they will get their cases next week. What I find really weird though, is why the on-line shops don't have any preorders yet. Plenty of ones for takara but none for hasbro besides RK. Kinda odd :???:

I'm going to assume that Hasbro is doing some clever marketing. Transformers Prime season 2 is set out to air on November 28th. Black Friday is on November 25th, Cyber-Monday is on . I'm sure that Hasbro won't disappoint us Transformers fans on getting some good Black Friday/Cyber-Monday deals.

As you stated above, Robot Kingdom is supposedly getting their's next week, TRU Canada is supposed to be putting them out around that same time. I'd say we should see them here in the US around the third week of November, if not sooner.

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if we start seeing sightings very soon. Plus, as it was mentioned, Black Friday and Cyber Monday are coming up, couldn't hurt to use them to boost sales.

If the release dates for Prime and Power Rangers Samurai hold true...November's going to be really, really hard on my wallet. LOL

Oh, one more thing, we're coming up on reset and I know Prime toys are part of the new planogram.
November/December is the final reset of the year, beginning of the first reset of the new year. Everything we've been looking for should be out this coming month.

For several days? Yeah, I've been like that myself!

Yeah, they're good at that. What with ignoring the European market and not giving us new toys in the Christmas period, yeah, that's marketing genius. I'm not having a go at you, LadyBug, just annoyed at Hasbro UK.

That is pretty good to hear, but I have no faith in my area getting anything so soon. We usually get things a month later than everyone else and then we have to deal with the mad dash of trying to buy them before everyone else does :P Which is why, now that I have a job, I have decided to purchase them online if I can. No more store hunting for me. But ty very much for the info, glad to know things will be launching soon :D
