DOTM and TF:prime wave questions.

as for transformers prime, when the first edition wave is over will they figures in the first edition wave be resold in the main kick off line next year? i just wanna know how long i should save my money and what figures to buy at the right time. oh and the last wave of generations, the release date for them.
but please people help me clear this up. i cant wait for this dry period to be over.
