let's say if your favorite TF was a tank, it would belong to a military them, and it might look good with a bucnh of Gi Joes on display.

In my case, I like to put my tranformers on display with other toys.

so, my favorite is, of course, powerlinx hot shot.
I guess he belongs to a sports car/race car theme. but what other action figures that would look good with him is anybodys guess... I don't know.

I noticed that leader class bot's can be placed next to Gi joes and other soldiers. then it looks pretty good.

I'll get some photos if you want to see what I mean, or you could try it yourself.

I have all my Primes and Megatrons grouped together. That's as close as themes get for me. I also have all the toys for the cast of the PS2 Armada game, and they are together, surrounding the game in its case.

Once I get my TF shelves put up in the basement, I'll have all my motorcycle TFs in a group with GI Joe riders. In particular:

Animated Dlx Prowl w/ Snake Eyes
Animated Oil Slick w/ Dreadnok Buzzer
Mv Arcee w/ Classic Scarlett
ROTF Arcee w/ modern Scarlett

My plan is to get 2 more modern Scarlet figs to go w/ ROTF Chromia and another Arcee to round out the sisters. Scarlett will be her holographic riders.

I used Armada Unicron to store my spare change. Does that count?

Plus; most of my TF's seem to go nicely with dust.

I don't typically mix and match my TFs with anything else due to lack of room, but if I did the theme would simply be robots. TFs, Gundams, Armored Cores, Frame Arms, Megaman. That's what I collect, that's what I display.

I found that the leader class and human alliance figures are roughly in scale with the Mega Bloks figures-like their Halo line and the blind packed Marvel figures. Hoping to someday do a Halo/Transformer crossover photo comic thing.

Lately I've been getting some of the Call of Duty sets and they work ok with Transformers as kind of a human aspect for them. I just moved (2nd day here) so I have not been able to get to putting them up yet, but I pulled out RTS Fallback and Bumblebee for this one.
