Help! RotF Mindwipe ankle joint cracking

The ankle joints on my RotF Mindwipe are cracking. Is this a case of GPS? I looked for any other signs of damage and didn't see any. Is there a fix for this or will Mindwipe have to go footless??

It's happening to mine too. I tried taking it apart and gluing it together, but that didn't work. I don't think it's GPS, I think it's just too much stress on too little plastic.
