HA Reverb...a hit or miss?
Posted: Sun Nov 13, 2011 1:59 pmI just picked up Reverb several days ago and opened him up this morning. I admit like most I was not to thrilled at this one simply cause his alt mode was a little too weird. Almost like we was never fully completed but still shoved out the manufacturing doors. But the more I stared at him on the peg hook the more he looked interesting because he looked different and a bit weird. I had already seen the video reviews of the few that there are due to the obvious.
And after fidgeting enough with him he is a cool HA TF along with his cool looking human counterpart. I think I will make them both honorary Decepticons along with Tailpipe and Halftrack, all have seen that evil will overcome in the end. FYI if you switch heads with Halftrack and Sandstorm you will find Sandstorms head looks way cooler on Halftrack IMHO.
So anyway I've taken a real liking to Reverb though his name doesn't fit really so I'm thinking of another name. Someone mentioned he does capture this GoBot essence and I like how (for you Macross fans) his head reminds me of Nikki Basarra's red Valkyre just a bit. I think he could have been engineered a bit better but nothing ever really is...get him!
