Junkions!!
Posted: Thu Dec 01, 2011 12:05 amHey Seibtrono’s, since RTS(Classics) Wreck-Gar has been out for awhile and Junkheap is starting to show up in stores, how about some repurposed Junkons? Here’s a list of guys I’ve found(though don’t have too many of), and is basically just a fun repurposing project.
Since this is for fun, I’m actually going to divide it up between Autobot and Deceptcon Junkions, because well not only are their a sizable number of possible repurposed Junkions, it wouldn’t be outside the realm of possibility that a Civil War could start between them. Heck, “Big Broadcast of 2006” demonstrated how easily they could be turned against everyone. So without further ado…
Autobots:
Our official Classics Junkion’s of Wreck-Gar(represented 3 times, 2 RTS 1 United), Junkheap and Scrapheap?
Hey, it’s Wreck-Gar again! Bah, his G1 figure hardly looked like his Movie counterpart, so he’s good for a generic Junkion.
Crosshairs from the Target Exclusive Move repaint line! He’s not a bad looking figure, and has a very Junkion color scheme. And that yellow camo? Could be rust….
Also from Target’s movie line we have Elita-1! She’s a motercycle, and the colors fit. Plus she provides a nice(though admittedly cliché’) female presence.
Hey it’s Wreck-Gar again! Despite that, he looks different enough from the G1 character to qualify as someone else, and his garbage truck alt. allows for some nice vehicle variety.
Mudflap from Starscream’s assault. This guy just works. The colors, the look, even the weird head, he just screams Junkion! Now I wish I’d picked him up on clearance.
Rounding out my personal Junkion choices is…Legends Sandstorm? This one I’m not too sure about, but the color scheme fits, and he doesn’t really look like G1 Sandstorm anyway.

First and foremost, the second ever official Junkion, Detritus! He’s a brown Hound, with a goatee! Other than that, not overly interesting, but not going to argue with canon…
Yeah, you had to see Cybertron Lugnutz coming. He was a Wreck-Gar homage before Wreck-Gar was ever planned!
Chopsaw! What a maroon…and yellow color scheme. Eh, fit’s the Junkion criteria.
Oil Slick. Guy’s pretty green, but his design has a lot of spike’s and he looks like a dirty fighter.
Beast Machine’s Blast Charge. Again, like so many on this list it’s the colors that are the immediate attractant. However, he has those erector set style legs, the giant tires on his legs, missiles doubling as clubs, maybe he was built out of junk…
Rid Obisidan. Desert color scheme…or rusted hunk of scrap? And what would Obsidan be without..
Universe Strika! Eh, the color scheme’s right, and it’s another Fembot.
And that as they say is that. So what do ya’ll think? Good, bad? Thoughts? Suggestions?
