I'm going to check after work today, but all week I've been seeing commercials on tv for buy one, get one free Transformers toys. I'm not sure if this sale is nation-wide or not either, so check your local TRU!

I'm pretty sure this isn't nationwide. I was actually just at Toys "R" Us the other day looking for the new Prime figures (no luck D: ) and they were having a different sale on Transformers -- two for $18 on all of their deluxe class figures. The sale's valid through Saturday here, so I doubt that they'd have two sales going on at the same time.

On that note, I heard an advertisement from the other room for a big 50% off sale at Toys "R" Us that was going on Wednesday, (maybe just in my area, maybe not) though I can't remember if anything included Transformers...

I stopped at my TRU yesterday, and they were selling ALL Deluxes for "2 for $17.99". But of course, the selection sucked. There was literally nothing I wanted.

I imagine most places are cleaned out after all the various sales. Have to get lucky to find something you're looking for.

I hope they put out some of the good stuff...IE: PRIME...for this sale. If all they have is old stuff, I will pass.

Something I saw that was uncanny, yesterday I went to 3 different TRU and I saw 1 Prime BB at each location.... .

My local TRU had 1 Prime BB yesterday!

I don't quite get why stores order so many Bee's when they know they sell out of the others in the blink of an eye (in a matter of speaking). I understand Bee is the most popular character amongst kids, but when you end up always having Bee sit on the shelf and none of the others (especially when the others sell off quickly) you'd think they'd order at least a few more of the fast selling characters...

Even when I was last on their website they were sold out of Arcee and Starscream, but Bee was still in stock.

As for there only being one on the shelf in 4 different TRU's, it sounds like a marketing ploy. Considering this is the time of year when parents buy the most toys TRU is probably hoping that if a parent see's they only have one "left" they'll pick it up as an impulse buy.

This sale is a joke. I was so excited to go today to check it out. I picked up an Ironhide and Ratchet figure to purchase because of the sale. I went to the cashier to check out and she said that only a dollar came off one of them. I started to argue with her about how the tv ad said "buy one, get one free". She had to get a manager, and the manager went back there to claim that the "under 9.98" ones are. They had absolutely nothing else in stock or that interest me. I will no longer be going to that TRU because of the horrible experience I just had. I will most likely only buy the toys online for now on there.
