TFCC G2 Ramjet, also Action Master Thundercracker could fit with his colors.

Nothings too late to get when it comes to ebay. Now, if you want it at original price, then yes it's too late unless you find a deal on ebay.

Don't forget G2 Dreadwing/Smokescreen

Much cheaper than before;

...and then MakeToys upcoming G2 Devy.

Damn Neo-G2 collection is so exclusive heavy and expensive XD.

Technically speaking, BotCon AM Thundercracker, Slicer, Scorch and Double Punch were still G1-based despite their colors. So was BotCon Thunderclash for that matter.

There's one figure you all forgot: Universe Inferno. His water cannon was based on the new accessory for the G2 re-release, and he was part of the "Generation 2" series of that line. If you don't mind Legends figures, try to pick the Aerial Rivals set, Air Raid and Skydive use their G2 colors for that set.

Finally, get a United Bumblebee. You know why ;)

For those that use United or Henkei Megatron for their Classics display, what do you think about using the original Classics Megatron as G2 Megatron?

Double Dealer, not to nitpick but Sky Byte is RiD, not G2, even though he came with the set. But you do have your options for Megatron. There's a new G2 paint job for the Classics Deluxe tank. It's up for preorder on BBTS.

It seems you're missing Cindersaur, Rapido, Scorch, Slice(r) and Double(Donkey)Punch. I realize the Action Master homages weren't originally G2 toys but they're in the comic for the G2 set and they fit naturally enough. TFCC Ramjet is phenomenal. No Neo Classic G2 collection is complete without him IMO. RTS Mindset is a definite. The movie aesthetic is easy to overlook on him since he's mostly one base color.

Bah. Casting by color is just... Wrong.

-edit- You also would not be able to stare directly at your collection anymore.

Yeah, I'm not seeing that. Color wise or even general shape. G2 Megs was much more bulky at his lower arms and legs for both tank molds. I think we're stuck with the old Classics deluxe mold for now for that homage.

Which only has it's size as a downside, IMO. Plus United is going to give us that GLORIOUS purple tank. Please hold for fanboy squeel...

SQUEEEEEEEL.

But that mold is hot garbage...

And he's going to be really small compared with G2 Prime with Battle Tanker.

PURPLE HOT GARBAGE! If only that tank could be a voyager.

I can't hold Hastak accountable for a third-party product.

The only real drawback to that mold is the one arm. The rest is decent enough. I'm not really concerned about scale with that Megatron. Clench is sort of intended to hold the leader spotlight for G2 anyway. What happened to just getting Hero Megatron for that character slot? Was he just a bit too blocky? I'm curious.

Clench was a spotlight Leader for G2:Redux, but in G2 proper he wasn't. That was still Megatron, Clench and Pyro were still G1 technically speaking. They did wear the new symbols though.

Speaking of Megatron, I'm gonna get the purple United Thunder Megatron for my special Leader Shelf, the green one gets relocated to Universe 2003 as G1 Megatron. Hey, it works :)
