Japanese toy blogger Alfes 2010 has uploaded in-hand images of Takara's Transformers Prime "First Edition" figures. As you can see in the images mirrored below he's focused on their robot modes, but these are probably the best images we've seen of these figures to date. He's posted a few addition images with some of the figures in vehicle mode that can be viewed by clicking here.

Ill probally break down and get Bulkhead and the Vechicon as "special interest" figures for my collection. The rest of this line means nothing to me.

Maybe that's how Alfes 2010 posed her? or that could be the most stable pose, for an unsupported, free-standing look.

Personally I think if I can find them locally, I'll be getting the Arcee and maybe the Cj. Not too sure bout Megs or Prime.

Definitely picking up Clifjumper and the Vehicon probably for my Classics shelf. Not sure who the Vehicon could be but I love the look of him.

Already got BB, Screamer, and Arcee. Want the rest, but I'll have to stick with the Hasbro versions.

These poses are awesome. Glad the figures work that well. Honestly thought Optimus looked like crap from other photos I have seen and was not planning on getting him, but he looks great here. All of them do, actually.

I've already gotten BB, Arcee, and SC. Having a hard time finding the Vehicon. Hope these actually show up in stores.

I'll be picking up the import versions of Optimus and BB.

And if the comparison shots of CJ and Vehicon REALLY work hard to change my mind, perhaps those too. Those are a big maybe at this point.

The rest I'll be getting the US releases.

I've really come around on this line.

I'll pick up Takara's Prime, CJ, & a Radicon. Hasbro will get the rest of my money.

These figures look great, but I'll be sticking with Hasbro's releases. Anxious to get some voyager figures in my hands!

Vehicon. It's "Vehicon" for both Hasbro and Takara. "Radicons" is TFW2005's customization forum.

hmmm i wonder if Generations CJ's head will fit on the Prime CJ's body, may need 2 Cliffjumpers. anyway i got Arcee, Bumblebee and Starscream. had to paint Arcee's arms but it was worth doing, the paint really helps her pop more

I'm not messing around this time the way I did with Henkei and Beast Wars (I was late to the party on both lines, as I didn't start collecting until last year). I'm going to get every figure of deluxe or larger size from Takara AND Hasbro for TF: Prime. I'm not going to rely on over/under-exposed internet images with too much lighting or too little lighting to determine which figure looks better in-hand (for example, I've yet to see a single image anywhere of United Tracks or United Megs that does either figure justice).

As BBTS adds pre-orders for each figure from each line, I'm ordering them. My POL is going to get real fat by the end of next month .

Eh. I'll stick with the CA/US versions I have.

*sighs* Why does no one remember to show Cliffjumper's flip out cannons? (Hint: The hands rotate in and the cannons rotate out.)
