My son has a huge collection of action figures and toys in which we are sorting through to keep/donate/sell. I am having trouble finding info about this Bumblebee toy. It was purchased from Target a few years ago during the holidays. It's marked Hasbro 2009 Made in China c-086d.A google search doesn't yield anything that looks like this item, to me. Any ideas would be great! I am mostly interested in knowing if it belongs to a particular series, if it's something of little value or one I should encourage him to hold onto. Thanks!http://s128.photobucket.com/albums/p172/kaceyrose710/?action=view&current=IMAG2340-1-1.jpg

That is a Power Bots Bumblebee released during the Revenge of the Fallen line. I don't think it has great value.

Are ANY movie Bees worth anything? Surely they're so over stocked they're all nearly worthless.

My guess is the ULTIMATE BUMBLEBEE. Supreme class, ugly as sin robot mode, animatronics lights and sound, and is 100$ at the cheapest. I have a little Bee collection, but I'll never get him nor any 2007 figures. A Movie Bumblebee with a chest that just fold down is just retarded looking.

Of course, there's the Movie Masterpiece that may worth something.

But the best bet is the Costco special leader class Battle Ops Bumblebee GOLD edition. Not only does this figure is awesome looking with his metalic finich, it come with a trophy gold legend Bee, and a bonus legend Mudflap! I got it from Ebay for only 63$ total.

This mone being awesome and exclusive will surely increase in price over time. I openned mine and he's awesome.

Also, for the lazy:

Get him while the price is relatively low. It's well worth it.

Got him in a trade along with Classics Cliffjumper in exchange for eHobby Scrapheap. I think I got a deal on that one, since I love clear plastic over opaque. :)

The Hasbro versions aren't that valuable, given his popularity among collectors, wide variety of molds and general availability. And Takara versions are hardly any different or are completely the same. If anything, these could go for a lot of money:

- MA-03 Bumblebee (Japanese Classic Camaro)
- MP-M02 Bumblebee/Costco Battle Ops Bumblebee
- HftD Battle Blade Bumblebee

Only two available on Ebay from the same seller.
That deluxe figure is only 175$ plus shipping.

Damn....

And I thought 50$ shipped for the hasbro version was expensive.
Le'st hope it will be reisued in the Movie Trilogy line.
