Takara vs. Hasbro Rodimus
Hey guys...I was wondering if anyone has (or could provide a link to) side-by-side pics of both the Takara C-05 and Hasbro versions of Rodimus...I have been searching for a coloring comparison and can't seem to find one...
I have the Takara C-05, mainly because the Henkei's have shown a consistant improvement of QC over the Hasbro versions...and now I am thinking about getting his trailer upgrade from Fansproject and have a problem...the "standard" one does not really match (due to the golden spoiler compared to the standard orange one of the Hasbro version)...and the "crystal" version of the trailer is just plain fugly.
Now, the spoiler is the only major difference I have noticed, and I am not above re-painting it to match his classic orange color if it will match the FP trailer upgrade armor...but I do not know if the rest of the paint job on the Takara figure is comparable (I have seen photos where they are relatively close, and other photos where the Takara version appears much much more "reddish").
Just hoping one of you guys can shed some light on my dilemma...thanks ahead of time and Happy Transforming!
