I was just wondering, do you think we will see new versions of Generations Prime and Megatron that are Fall of Cybertron game accurate? I'm not sure how much change they went through just from the released preview of the game...

We would probably be getting a whole new toyline for FOC. I remember Hasbro hinting at a possibility of a whole FOC line at a convention (Don't quote me), and I don't see why not, since only TFP and the last bit of the DOTM subline is currently planned for this year ;)

IF there is a whole line, Prime would probably have a enw toy, since he is redesigned.

No images of megs yet as far as I can find ;)

Still wishing for the FOC Combaticons (combining, please),
I also want a FOC/WFC Omega and Trypticon, I wouldn't mind even a voyager version.

We can see Megatron's new design in the recent trailer, it looks stupid.

Yea, I've heard talks of the possibility of a FOC toy-line, but I can only confirm that there will be toys based on a couple of characters, Shockwave for instance.

But if you ask me a full blown toy-line wouldn't make much sense to me.

The reason I was really asking was because at my TRU there are still a few of the 3-pack WFC Prime/Bee/Megatron sets. They look cool, but I already own those toys. I don't really want doubles, even if the color is different. If I were to get them, I would count them as the FoC versions, which aren't right. But if there won't be new toys for Prime and Megatron, I might pull the trigger on the set.

Well as we know, both Prime and Megatron have been redesigned, plus they are two of the largest TF toy wh*res out there. They will get new toys, I'm pretty sure of it.

Big ass body, tiny head...
This would make a good Voyager, indeed. But I doubt it will make it into voyager class. If we get toys, they'll likely all be deluxe...Even Grimlock...

All I want from the FoC is a full set of Dinobots.

If they made that Megs into a figure, I wonder if they could pull off an alt mode that didn't look ridiculous... Whatever the case, I'd love a full line of WFC/FOC figs. They're about the only non-Classics figs I'm really digging the aesthetics of these days.

I'd love to see an entire line dedicated to FOC. I think the chances of an initial wave are pretty high but anything beyond that would likely be tied into how well the game sells. Part of the problem regarding subsequent waves would stem from this being a very expensive line to produce. Every figure would need a new mold in the first few waves and new designs for most of the characters. Optimus, Bumblebee, and Megatron are almost certainly going to be made. Shockwave and Grimlock are strong candidates. Jazz? Ironhide? Seekers? I doubt we will see them.

I would love an updated Prime/Megs as well as Grimlock but the main one I'd love to see is a newly reimagined Bruticus like we saw in the trailer. The new Generations line of toys have been great thus far. Imagine if they took that same size/articulation and turned it into a combiner.

=P~

Hasbro might want to consider a re-package of Cybertron Starscream and his repaints as the FOC Seekers  Well, maybe they could just gut out the Cyber Key gimmick too.

Something needs to fill the void in the Class/Uni/Gen line and FoC would fit perfectly.

I think they'd have to commit to doing it or not sooner than that as there's not really enough turn around time to wait and see how the game does. I think whatever they're doing is based off the previous WFC fig sales and whatever other factor there already are to predict sales...so I would assume they already know what they plan to do.

Yep! And that means Ratchet and Ironhide to me.

Dino set would be nice. Stunticons would be nice, too. Combining wouldn't be necessary as Hasbro might screw them up.

Don't be surprised to hear something at Toyfair regarding this.We are still roughly 8-9 months from the release of the game, assuming it comes out on schedule, which does give Hasbro some lead time for deciding on subsequent waves. Of course this is all based on optimistic speculation. There is just as good a chance Hasbro says screw it and doesn't make any FOC figures, instead concentrating on unnecessary repaints of movie figures.

Once the Dark Of The Moon toyline dies out I hope to see either a full on FOC line or (at the very least) a continuation of the Generations line with FOC figures sprinkled in.

We just got confirmation from the UK toy fair that FOC would be a part of generations, with currently 4 new figures planned. On show was a hard copy FOC Jazz :KREMZEEK:

According to Full Metal Hero, it's actually going to be 8 figures.

8 slots get eaten up real quick, and right from the start there is no chance of getting all the Dinobots and Combaticons. Hopefully they don't blow half of it on guys we already got.
