Superb! As hoped for, a box for Runabout Over-Run with room to spare for Runamuck! Can't wait (I've been refreshing both club site and club twitter the last hours)!

Looks like Drift has Snake Eyes's symbol on his swords. So does that mean there's a Shattered Glass GI Joe? Where evil American terrorist organization known as GI Joe fight the heroic, highly-trained, secret team of international soldiers known as COBRA? Haha! Maybe FunPub should quit it with the SG Transformers and just do SG GI Joe instead.

Looking good! joined the club just for these guys!

Also like, what with how big and stylized "Over-Run"s name is on the box, I don't think Reprolabels are gonna make a replacement Runabout sticker for it. :-(

aargh he will be mine soon, I hope :( how does the site generally cope with loads? does it fall over? Not meaning to be rude, but it does look a bit 1998 (the site, not the figure) :ic$:

The Joe's do exist in the SG universe. I have to re-read some of the fiction, but I think the president is Colton (the original Joe), I think Hawk is the VP, and Hauser "Duke" is the secretary of Defense.

The neo-Battlechargers look absolutely fantastic, even better than the Photoshop jobs. Looking forward to adding them to my Classics shelf.

If you've looked at the pics of SG Soundwave from this year's set, I'd almost lay money that SG G.I. Joe ties in somewhere, either in this comic or a future one.

Also, at a prior BotCon they mentioned that the Shattered Glass Universe started as a concept they originally wanted to do with GI Joe so a full SG Joe set is probably not far behind.

As far as these figures go, the special box is a nice touch, although the name on the front (I realize it wasn't their choice) is not.

I get the vibe that "Over-Run" is what the two characters are meant to portray. Being overrun. I like these a lot. The shirts looks great too. Had they been different art than what the boxes are, I'd probably have gotten them too. They look great though.

Man, gotta give Fun Pub a lot of credit on this. I'm pretty sure I'm still skipping Runamuck and Runabout, but I LOVE the boxart (I'll buy the t-shirt), and the fact that the box can hold them both? That's an awesome touch, and I think it's great that they listened to the fandom on this one. I don't think I can justify dropping another $100 on this set, though (I'd have to re-up my membership).

Still totally in on SG Drift. The fact that they used one of Deadpool's classic poses for the art was a great touch.
