Prediction: RID/Arms Micron Voyager Bulkhead...

...is going to SUCK HARDCORE in comparison to the First Edition version.

We already know that Hasbro is taking the line in the direction of more gimmicks and less complex transformations, and the FE Bulkhead has one of the most complex (and awesome!) transformations for a Voyager class figure ever in order to achieve such a large, rotund robot mode with such a compact vehicle mode. I'm having trouble seeing how they could achieve a comparable result with a simpler transformation.

I expect we'll see more of a shell-former with a lot of cheating to get the chest to look right (a la RID Cliffjumper), and either a huge vehicle mode or a tiny robot mode (I predict the latter).

This is to say nothing of how much translucent plastic could end up going into those gigantic forearms. *shudder*

(Of course, I'll probably end up buying the damned Arms Micron version anyway for the Micron, unless by some miracle Bulkhead's Micron makes it into the capsule assortment. At least it's better than paying $60 a pop for just a Micron....)

Haha, discussion on two different figures is generally blissful and full of intelligent interaction when all parties have both figures.

Seeing as I'm getting outblurrzed in my own country and can't even find a bloody Bulkhead, and the majority of Americans are hopeless in the situation, I'll just agree that RID will be poop.

Why do you think they'll even try and make the chest look right?

I actually agree. I think there's no way for this follow up Bulkhead to be nearly as good as the first go-round.

One thing is sure, prepare your 100$ to get a FE Bulkhead.

I have contempt for the easily bought.

I don't excuse Hasbro for the things it royally screws up because it is capable of doing other things right; besides, I'm not counting FOC Bruticus as a win until I see ll five 'bots and know they'll be evenly distributed.

As my momma used to say, don't count your gestalts before they're on your shelves.
