The
Transformers facebook page has officially revealed the new mold Transformers Prime "Robots in Disguise" Deluxe Vehicon. This new version appears to be a bit more streamlined than it's "First Edition" predecessor.

I don't buy this image for a second. How could that possibly transform into a car?
I see the trunk and the spoiler on the back, and the legs clearly become the hood, but there's no midsection..
I'll reserve judgment on this one, at least until real pics are available. This one smells fishy to me.

If you look closely at the back of the calves, you can see the top of the car and windshield...

When I saw earlier pics of this figure I thought it transformed into the plane vehicon, but now the wheels are clearly visible. It looks a lot better than the FE one for sure.

Whats great is that it looks like the front wheels aren't wierdly centered like the FE version is in alt mode.

For what it's worth, I really don't like light piping. It's a neat enough gimmick, but my own humble opinion is that paint looks better than a bifurcated head who's backside is a separate color made of clear plastic.
A final thought; if Hasbro really loved us, they'd start putting SMD LED's inside Transformer heads.

I'm curious as to what the car mode will look like, because if the FE version did something amazing it was the way the car looked.

I shall buy many of these!
Transformers needs more armybuilders.
What would be REALLY cool is if these has the same/similar robot modes, but different alt modes.

That robot mode... It must require the sacrifice of a thousand virgin goats to be so... CLEAN.

Now that is an awesome idea!
Also I'm really impressed. We just need to see him in alt mode now and hope for the best.
