The Transformers facebook page has officially revealed Transformers Prime "Robots in Disguise" Deluxe Class Ratchet. However, we got a much more comprehensive look at this figure a couple of weeks ago when it was "unofficially" revealed!

WANT!!! Very, VERY WANT!!! No painted windows on the chest, blades mounted on arms like movie Optimus, and p!$$ed grimace expression make this a certain must have. Well done Hasbro.

You know, after listening to the Twincast-Podcast, I was really expecting to not-like this figure. Seeing these images has swayed my judgment. I think it looks great! The robot mode is fantastic. There don't appear to be any over-proportionate areas and the expression is spot on.

This is going in my Prime collection right next to Wheeljack and Soundwave.

this looks WAAAAAY better than the last pictures we saw.

At least this one has left a rather nice impression on me.

We've seen pics of the actual toy, and it look a lot more plain than this stock photo.

Amazing how much a simple change of facial expression improves a figure.

Bought on sight, along with Soundwave.

As a comparison.. hmm..

He looks a lot better than those other pics had him, hopefully that doesn't mean he won't actually look this good. That being said I still think Voyager sized would be good, because if I'm not mistaken, he's around the same size as Bulkhead

Well, this one's a stock photo and those were the real toy, so...

Um... maybe the one that we previously saw was a factory reject that was disposed of... and then someone picked it up... and sold it. Ya, probably not.

Ahhh Photoshop, Hasbro's best friend. If I get Ratchet, I will get some pearl white paint and give him the once over to look like this.

The pic we saw earlier (the one with the blue windows) looked like an undoctored photograph of an actual figure. This pic looks like a doctored photo or a digital render. I call shenanigans. This new pic looks like the kind of pic they use on the back of the packaging; an idealized version that never really matches the actual toy.

Yeah, if only the real toy looked this painted. Yeah, I'd settle for a fully-detailed figure. Takara better not screw it up. But then who wants to pay $35 for a deluxe?

I like this design. I've been skipping Prime so far, maybe this toy will make me buy one at last. Well... If it's any kind of affordable, that is.

finally! a Ratchet with his own surgical knives. i never seem to see a Ratchet w/ blades before. all of them were just Ironhide repaints and remolds.

anyways, i'll buy it.

he's cranky.. just as he should be! he does look like a legit purchase for me but... i'll wait and see when i actually lift him of the shelf
