Seibertron.com is proud to present the first Deluxe wave in the Transformers Prime mainline "Robots in Disguise". This wave features Bumblebee, Cliffjumper, Wheeljack, and Soundwave with Laserbeak. Bumblebee and Cliffjumper both appeared in the ill fated Transformers Prime "First Edition" line, however these are brand new molds. Quick questions about Bumblebee, can he really only hold his little blasters in his hands? Do they not fit in those square holes in his arms? In other words can he not put them how the FE does it or how it's supposed to be on the show? And can FE Bumblebee put both of RiD's guns into the holes on his arms? Thanks.

wheeljack looks awesome and soundwave would be a good kitbash figure, he looks like a mech from a videogame but i cant remember the name. If it wasnt for the stupid head this soundwave wouldnt be bad but the head just ruins it. Also add the fact he doesnt talk so we have no clue if hes just a drone or a full fledged transformer, they have frank welker and yet they dont have him voice soundwave.

Maybe they'll give him his voice later on. Soundwave is one of those mysterious characters so far. His head's pretty close to classic Soundwave, except his face is a screen instead of a faceplate. I personally like it a lot.

Wheeljack and Soundwave look NICE. It's a shame that Wheeljack isn't the same rich white that TomyTakara can produce.

What are you talking about? He can so speak. He just chooses not to. He spoke quite a bit in WFC, but now he's switched to silent surveillance.

I own Soundwave, and he's not bad. I don't know what's wrong with the head, it's show accurate.



If you're talking about those "chin pieces", they're on his face in the show. But they aren't noticable. They aren't appealing, however I pretned they are part of his chest by making him hunched over.

All that talk about them being smaller is a bunch of hooey. They all look good to me! *tries to slip dollar bills into the disc drive and nothing happens*

hmm...looks like TF Animated meets the movie bots. in other words....yuck. look like crap. cliffjumper's head looks like a mini unicron. Soundwave looks decent I suppose...but the hands/arms look rediculous. Lazerbeak? feh. Only think that could make these worse would be if they were translucent.

actually, yes. with no more decent bots coming out for a while, I have stopped watching for the new stuff for the most part. Classics were decent....most everything else...not so much.

Wheeljack is pretty crisply white in person. He looks really sweet in vehicle mode.

I'm hoping I can find Soundwave, but if he's anything like the Generations line he'll be super hard to to find for a while and then show up in abundance for a short period.

Those pics actually make RID Cliff look really nice too! Love the facial expression xD So I might snag him after I get back from my Disney trip.


As someone mentioned before, Wheeljack is pretty white in person. Not perfectly so, I'll admit, but the slightly off-white that he is is still rather appealing in my eyes.

And Bee... might get picked up one day... maybe.

Interesting, this is actually the first time I've seen (or paid attention to) both Bumblebees side-by-side. I had assumed based on the transformation scheme of the legs that they actually used the same mold and remolded it to simplify it. In reality, the legs are a very similar transformation, but it's a completely different, smaller mold. Somewhat fascinating.

They look identical; just a little bit smaller. That's really easy to do when the designs are in a CAD program (as I'm sure they are).

So, yeah... Different mold; but it looks like just a slightly smaller version of the exact same design. (For the waist/legs, of course; the rest is substantially different.)

Oh, and unpainted tail lights. Sigh.

I love everything about soundwave except for that flip forearm/hands thing. It's vomit inducing.

His alt mode is super sexy though (I'm a UAV engineer and always wished for TF one).

Wheeljack and Soundwave are great. Cliffjumper is flawed but not as bad as people say IMO. Bumblebee is crap. Great pics Ryan!

Now I'm really excited! But I think BB still looks meh compared to the FE..

I already pre-ordered all the Takara TF Prime figures, I hope they have better paint job and that the accessories will still be there besides having the cool microns.

Here's hoping the Takara's BB will look better..

im actually really starting to like this cliffjumper, wheeljacks good but i dunno if im getting him, the only l=thing thats slightly off about soundwave is the paint; it's not entirely show-accurate, but thats only a minor gripe cuz that coloration still works pretty well on him. Bumblebee.......yea he sucks, but i wasnt guna get hi anyway so i dont hafta worry about it

Except for where the back window of the car ends up. On the FE it ends up on the legs, the PRID version it does not.
