It had been reported on earlier that March 2012 will bring Happy Meal toys to McDonald's featuring My Little Pony and Transformers Prime, well they are here! McDonald's Happy Meal website has pictures up of eight toys: Optimus, Megatron, BumbleBee, Bulkhead, Starscream, Ratchet, Knock-Out and Breakdown! so do they transform or are they just happymeal versions of speedstars or what ever those hotwheel things were called

Wonder what they do. They all seem to have buttons, and Bulkhead (and only him) has some kind of disc I'd imagine get's launched.

They don't seem to do transforming Transformers anymore, do they? Granted the ones they did were so absurdly simple they made the Legends class look complex by comparison, but still it was always fun getting them as a kid.

If they don't transform then I can safely ignore them.

Aww, darn! I really wanted Prime jumping out of a burger.

I'll get the primary cast, not sure who the red car or blue trucklet are supposed to be. EDIT- yes, I saw their names, just not familiar with them on the show.

Also getting the MLP figs for my daughter. OK yeah, so I might play with them too, big whoop, wanna fight about it?

At least you have kids to use as an excuse. I'm planning on walking in and loudly proclaiming that I am there to purchase all the toys. It's going to be awkward anyway, might as well have some fun with it.

Reminds me of beast wars when I was a kid. If I remember right I think McDonald's released some. Does anyone else remember that? I vaguely remember a t-rex and scorpion that transformed to some degree.

I remember those. I think my sister got a T-Rex that was gold and blue. It's been awhile, but I think it was supposed to be transmetal Dinobot.

Yeah you're right. I looked on tf wiki and that was dinobot and the other was scorponok.

The red car is Knock Out, who is the decepticon doctor, their counterpart to Ratchet. He's extremely vain and utterly unethical. Some have taken his vanity and compliments reguarding male-bots appearances to mean he's the robot equivalent of gay. He is voiced by Daran Norris.

The blue truck is Breakdown, who appeared the same time and Knock Out and has often acted as his assistant. He is the decepticon counterpart to Bulkhead, and the two are arch-enemies, often going toe to toe in knockdown drag-out brawls. He lost an eye during season one, and might possibly have a thing for Airachnid. He is voiced by Adam Baldwin

Found a better picture of these little guys. I will be stunned if they transform. Most likely, they will depict robot mode underneath the vehicle like Speed Stars.

Prime looks like he may be able to do something under the hood, but it may be a weapons feature like Bulkhead.

Where I got the Animated Happy Meals toys and if these guys don't transform or have a nice little feature (like the BK ones), I'm not as interested. Though I still might grab Brakedown, Bulkhead and Megatron. At $1.25 they're pretty much the same cost as matchbox cars anyway.

If Knockout didn't look so bland I'd probably have been interested.

This Friday will launch the McDondald's dual Happy Meal promotion, featuring Transformers Prime and My Little Pony. Images from MiraiBaby's Twitter feed indicate the first 2 figures for the Transformers Prime line up will be Optimus Prime and Megatron! No surprise there. Also revealed are the first 2 offerings for the My Little Pony toys which are Pinky Pie and Rarity. But, as previously reported Optimus, Megatron, BumbleBee, Bulkhead, Starscream, Ratchet, Knock-Out and Breakdown will be included during the promotion. Additional information has surfaced thanks to TFW2005.com member Bumblebee3. Megatron, Bumblebee, and Bulkhead will include a spring loaded launcher and missile. Optimus and Megatron will have lights, Optimus with red and Megatron with green. Starscream, Breakdown, Ratchet and Knockout will have flip out weapons. I remember when McDonalds toys were cool; or maybe I'm just wearing my rose-tinted glasses.

I just recently commented to a friend of mine about how cool it was that McDonalds would be doing the transformers toys since they do transforming ones. Now that I see them, it makes me sad since they dont transform.

They don't transform? Whats the point?

This is why I love Seibertron's news: I was thinking about this literally half an hour ago, wondering when these would hit. Way to read my mind, news crew! (Feel free to ignore the other craziness in there.)

I love these little toys, even if they don't TF. I'm going to be in to McD's for a good chunk of change this time around, I'll have to get 3 sets of TFs (me, and both kids) and a set of MLPFIM for the girl.
