Hasbro love affair with bruticus..poor menasor

Has anyone noticed there are a ridiculous amount of Bruticus remakes we have:
Ruination set
Reissue encore Bruticus
Energon Bruticus
Bombshock/bruticus thing
FOC Bruticus
Classics Onslaught figure which also counts and the DOTM Vortex,
Yet there are hardly any remakes of Menasor... I love menasor he was my first combiner he is so awesome... I want classics a menasor with a really G1 looking Motormaster. Maybe TFC could do a Menasor like they did with the Hercules (devastator) :-(

Dragstrip seems to get a lot of love. Breakdown too. But yeah, if we're talking a full team of some sorts, with a similar makeup to the G1 guys, the Stunticons don't get a lot of action. Darn sight more than the Terrorcons, Predacons or Seacons get though.

I agree that Bruticus gets a lot of love, but I won't complain since I'm a big Bruticus/Combaticon fan, lol. I do wish Menasor get a little more love, though, because I really like the Stunticons too. The Stunticon Botcon set was awesome, but having a Menasor combiner would be awesome. I heard that FansProject is doing a "Not-Menasor", so hopefully we'll see some pics of it soon (maybe Botcon?). I remember a group called the G1uppers were taking on a project to make the Animated Stunticons combine. They even made a pretty good head sculpt for Mensasor based on D.J. Wyatts sketches. However, we haven't heard anything from them in what seems like ages. I'm just assuming they were blowing smoke up the fandom's ass.

I'd love a new Motormaster. Something Generations style. But it's nitpicking, really. I'm happy we're gettng FOC Bruticus at all.

I think it's pure lust HasTak has for Bruticus. Next to Devastator Menasor was my all time G1 combiner set. I never was able to get them as a kid but man did I wish. I think back to my surprise how the show made Prime and Motormaster rivals and I had already seen Primes actual toy scale. So when I saw MM I thought...WTF?!

I think it's time HasTak and 3rd Party groups to share that same love for other combiners ESPECIALLY Menasor! :VEHI:

I remember in the comics when motormaster bragged to megatron "I can kick Primes A!@E!" which was a bad idea as megatron was insane by know and beat him senseless with a boulder and wildrider had to step in. Then he nearly got killed my the predacons who used him as target practice not sure if he died though? I don't think he did.

See if megatron had used the stunticons to defeat Prime then he would have won as they are all cars so advantage in vehicle mode.

It's only half Hasbro and half 3rd party, but I can't wait to see the Animated Menasor, if the kit'll actually get made.

Hasbro seems to be staying awayfrom cars as Decepticons, which is a real shame because I enjoy car Transformers.

Am at the point now were its a real bore seeing another Optimus Bumblebee even Megatron (although that new one looks awsome) and yes bruticus after all his g1 repaints and so on

I only realy get excited when new characters are released it limits how much i can buy which is a good thing it means i dont buy full waves of new lines

but thats the only reason why i dont mind this Bruticus because of the 5 new figures i realy dont care for the combined mode at all

i realy wish 2 devastators didnt come out it just seems like a bit of a waist when something could have been put out that hasnt since the 80's that way i would have had devastator and the begining of a new combiner.

Menasor has received very few and far between figures, though no combiners since G1, and some that really had nothing to do with the G1 Menasor.

Heck he hasn't even had an Encore release yet.

but for the curious ones here's a few of the more notable Menasor's we've received through the years.

Legends Class Cybertron Menasor (really he's just Motormaster...)

Cybertron Giant Planet Menasor

Titanium Exclusive Menasor (Again probably was going to be Motormaster, but really just Dark Rodimus)

I love the Legends Cybertron repaint! It's not an easy find here in the states. :VEHI:

G1 Bruticus/Ruination is because of the mold availability.

More recent stuff is probably due to them keeping up with the Autobots are cars/Decepticons are war machines theme.

Not to mention the lack of love shown the Pretender Monsters. So far we've seen 2 classics Stunticons w/ 1 movie Stunticon and 1 G2 classics Stunticon (can't forget the full set of animation Stunticons though), only 1 Technobot, 1 Protectobot. Other than Bruticus it seems Superion and Devastator get a little bit of attention (Superion even less so than the first two).

I would still like to see a better representation of the Combiners that will do them justice.

I'm not a big fan of the Movie versions I like the original stunticons the best!!!

There is still no remake off motormaster even though I thought he would be perfect for the movie as a Military Truck.

They even had the perfect body for Onslaught in DOTM Megatron. He even transforms the saem,

I agree they do do the autobots as cars and decepticons as military vehicles currently and since the Headmaster series G1/G2. The last line of Autobot jets in high quantity were probably in G2 as they had the cyberjets, Autobots, Rotorstorm etc..

I wonder why that is for?

Cool as the FOC Bruticus looks, I'm fed up of all the Bruticus' and Devestators of recent years.

I'd love an Energon style Menasor, as in Scout cars.

I'd love to get Motormaster repainted from RID Ultra Magnus or third party trailer armour that allows Nemesis Prime become Motormaster. Fictionally, the Nemesis Prime link could add to the character, with a new dimension to his rivallry to Optimus. I could only accept a full size Cybertron Prime repaint if they changed that awful head.

On the subject of third party, a new head for ROTF Dead End would be nice

I'm getting a friend to repaint a KO Robotmasters Mirage as Dragstrip. Pity Hasbro didn't do that themselves.

I'm quite fond of ROTF Breakdown. I know we got Oilpan but I could live with Wildrider repainted from the mold. Is Oilpan an honorary Stunticon?

If all of the above were to happen, I could die happy.

Oh, I never liked Motormaster's animation head, the toy head was much cooler. Classics Octane repainted might make an interesting War Within Motormaster. Look at the alt modes.

Could Knock Out be comsidered Prime's Dead End? Both are vain red sports cars and hang around with Breakdown. Dead End would be an interesting name for a Con doctor.

Funny you should mention Cybertron Prime as I recently got him from a bulk colleciton on EBay and he is awesome!!! only missing one missile/Cyber planet key but im getting the key soon.

I love this figure to bits and feel he would make a perfect Motormaster, they have done custom motormaster but not with the entire trailor. They should also do His silver sword, maybe i could try something... who knows...

Yeah, Devastator and Bruticus have had enough spotlight. Bring on the Stunticons, Technobots and others!

How about enough of the Decepticon Combiners altogether and start bringing back the few notable Autobot ones instead? Like for instance the direct counterpoint to Bruticus, Defensor?!

Computron's another great pick. We get Superion a little bit, but its too often in my book :)

I find Defensor to be a lot more unappreciated than either of those, thus why I'd prefer him.

Although you may find him more unappreciated, Defensor has appeared in OTFCC, Universe, The Aligned Continuity, and G1. Computron gets G1 and SG.
