With all this coverage of Toy Fair 2012 melting your brains with new Transformers products, we have some official pictures of TF Prime Cyberverse Commander wave 2. This wave contains Ironhide and Dreadwing in all their TF Prime glory. These images show off both robot and alt modes.

The rest of Hasbro's official images will be up soon, but for now enjoy these soon to be brand new additions to your Cyberverse lineup.

Skyquake comes back to life and becomes Dreadwing!?

Didn't they say Dreadwing was going to be a show character? Will they be reusing Skyquake's animation model? If so will we be getting a voyager redeco???

Dreadwing has already been solicited, so the question is if we'll ever get a "Skyquake" version of the mold.

I had a hunch this was going to be how it played out.

These characters better be in season 2. It would be stupid if they were just making the figures for the hell of it.

dreadwing's colours and face are too depth charge-y for me to have him as a 'con. hope they will repaint the voyager into skyquake colours eventually, so I feel like picking it up.

...okay, Hasbro, you win. I'll buy the HELL out of these.

I hope not, cause they have different voice actors and it'll be weird, but I also don't want him to look exactly like Sky Quake.

Dreadwing'll definitely be in the show, no plans for Ironhide as of yet though.

Woohoo I jumped for joy when I see this news ! Figuratively >.>. There is a really high chance that Voyager Dreadwing will be a repaint of Skyquake(Or the other way around) and thus I just have to buy one of em !!! WOOHOOO !!!

A deluxe ironhide might look interesting...But we'll see.

maybe this line wont be a total lose after all, still wish they'd bring back scouts though they're way better than commanders

This usually is referred to as a "pre-paint." I've seen it in Hasbro's Star Wars line several times, but I'm not sure I can recall a Transformers example.

Dreadwing has such amazing custom/kitbash potential.

Ironhide looks super awesome. I really hope he gets a deluxe.

As awesome as these look, I find Dreadwing being a Skyquake redeco pretty lazy. They introduce a character, kill him off, but still want to use his animation model, and so come up with this new guy whose body is shaped exactly like the first guy.

Here's a thought, Hasbro. If ya'll wanted to use this model, why'd you think it was a good idea to kill off the first guy so soon? Why not, you know, *not* kill him and then *use* him so the model doesn't get shoved onto someone else?

This is like if Beast Wars ever decided to kill off Cheetor or Tarantulas and replace them with Tigatron/Blackarachnia just to keep using the CG model.

Animated Crystal Rodimus counts, since he came out before the normal Animated Rodimus, Titanium Thundercracker sorta counts cause he's the one time a new seeker mold wasn't used for Starscream first.

I have to agree with Sabrblade on this. Why did they bother with Skyquake if they're already re-using his animation model for Dreadwing?

I mean, Wheeljack is basically a one-episode-wonder and he gets into the first Deluxe wave! (I know he's coming back, but still).

GIVE US SKYQUAKE.
