me like a lot of others really wanted que, soundwave and leadfoot. so what are our chances of getting them? i know they are not good chances but i really dont want to pay 100+ for a que. i have never spent that much on a movie toy. i have done it for a classics toy but not a movie one.

There's a slim chance that they may appear at some of those second wave discout retail stores like Meijers or Walgreens like Windcharger did last fall. They may also be reissued as part of the Japanese Movie line that was mentioned briefly.

or the Generations line. those 40 toys have to come from somewhere, and 3 Movie figures certainly helps bulk that up.

Im sure they had a bunch already produced by the time retailers decided not to buy them so Hasbro will have to unload them somehow. Would like to get Leadfoot and Soundwave if they can had at a reasonable price.

Hasbro must have a big warehouse to store those made but canceled toys. :-? Besides these, there were still Rumble/Frenzy thing that were canceled. So while I'm not going to pay a penny more than retail price on Soundwave and movie figures, I think I can wait and I'll just cross my fingers that someday during drought time, I will see them randomly appearing somewhere, anywhere.

I realy hope not my worst fear would be we get a **** load of FOC and only the few classics we get dont contain major characters we still need the arcees the springers the blasters the blitzwings and so on

just 40 new generations figures split 20 foc and 20 Gen if all new characters that could complete the list of classics.

I've been seeing these statements a lot the last week or so. Does this mean that the "Kids love and must have Bumblebee!!!!" propaghanda is over then? 'Cause for years now, the standard reply to "Too many BBs" has been that the kids yearn day and night for new BB figures, and I've been away from the board for a minute or two.
Totally serious by the way. I've been tired of ol' Bee since the concept Bee in 07, so I'm more than happy that the official allowed stance may be swaying that way as well.

I think all the kids that loved Bumblebee drowned in the Great BB Flood of 2011. The Dark Of The Moon is a cruel mistress, and we should all take heed of her warning.

I recall it starting with ROTF,when every new wave of figrues included *. Bumblebee, and if you dared mention BB fatigue you were greeted with hysterical shouts of "Children love BB so obviously parents are buyin' all of these figures!!!"
Still, gotta wonder if the Soundwave/Leadfoot/Que wave had a new BB in it, would it have been cancelled? I wouldn't cross the street for movie figures, but this wave cancelling of figures people actually want is bunk. Sure a few BBs could have been removed from the product list so as to make room for other figures....especially ones who were actually IN the movie, unlike Stealth BB and Nitro Paintjob BB and Cannon Attak Left-Handed-Instead-of-Right-Handed BB and .....

With so many Transformers junkies coming to this site, is there NO ONE who can contact Hasbro and find out if they will sell us the Soundwave/Leadfoot/Que deluxe class figures? Supposedly they exist, and if they are in a warehouse somewhere they arent doing Hasbro any good just laying about and not getting sold. I really dont want to spend tons of money shipping these deluxe figures from Japan. Speaking of which, if shipping from Japan is the only way those deluxe figures are making it to the US, we need to figure out the cheapest way to get them. Im tired of waiting for these figures!! Didnt we get promised the Target exclusive Leadfoot by the end of 2011?? I also want the deluxe version of Dino even though Ive never seen a spy photo- no matter what it looks like, its bought if I ever see it. I think Hasbro totally dropped the ball when they ignored major characters by not releasing a deluxe version of Soundwave, Leadfoot, Que and Dino right after the movie came out. At the very least by the time the DVD made it to shelves.

Hasbro has already responded. They say they'll "look into the possibility" but they have no plans to release them in the U.S.

End of story. Now let's move on.

Just move on? I only collect movieverse transformers so its going to be a little hard for me to move on. I dont think Hasbro takes their loyal customers seriously if all we get is a "Well maybe you will get the deluxe figures you want someday... we will look into it after counting our piles of cash we made off of you all and decide if we would like a bigger pile of cash later" All I want is for Hasbro to take my hard earned money (yes Im an employed adult) and gimme my deluxe figures

So import them. Hasbro isn't going to manufacture and distribute figures for the sake of a small number of collectors if they feel that 99% of their customers aren't interested in those figures. And retailers don't want to stock figures that they think customers won't buy. As much as we wish Hasbro would cater their business model to fulfill our needs as collectors, that's just not going to happen. So pony up the money to import those figures, or forget about them and move on, but there's no use in complaining.
