Stock Problems?

I was recently at Walmart in my town (Pocatello) and I was somewhat annoyed to notice that they had almost literally no stock of Transformers left. The problem is, they haven't got a new shipment since late November. Now all that's left are about 15 legends Stealth Bumblebees, 5 deluxe Bumbebees, 1 Ratchet, and a couple of each Leaders.
I just wanted to see if any other stores had similar stocking problems.

Both my local Walmart have racks that are literally overflowing with DOTM Deluxes, and plenty of all the other classes as well, and no sign of any Prime RID figs.
The situation at my local Targets and TRU are the opposite of Walmart: they have had empty shelves and empty racks for weeks now (TRU even resorted to using TF t-shirts and costumes to fill in the empty spaces), but a few Prime RID figs have shown up from time to time, and TRU looks like they're getting ready to stock a bunch of RID Primes any day now.

Walmart has built themselves up to be the go to store and now can't be relied on. They have a growing problem with their "You buy what we want you to buy" attitude.
I think you need to find more places to shop.
Sorry, I was just checking the shopping ventures in Pocatello, I guess the Shoe Carnival won't have any of the items you would be looking for. I suggest moving or opening your own hobby store.
Noticed there is a Big Lots and Kmart, they might have something

I checked K-Mart not too long ago, and they had nothing new, but they did at least have stock. Eh, at least this town's getting a Target soon as far as I've heard, so it should get better.
Oh, and another note, as for Rescue Bots there, they only have one Heatwave and a few of the fire station playsets. So they're even lacking in them.

The Walmart I work at has bare bones toy racks in the TF section. Been that way since Christmas. I'm guessing they're waiting for the Movie Trilogy and Prime lines. They had a few sparing Mudflaps and DotM deluxes, as well as about 6 Generations Skullgrins.

Movie Trilogy figures were canceled for the U.S.

I know this is off topic, but those were cancelled as well? I though only the main line DOTM toys were cancelled. Must of missed that info.

The TF racks at my Walmart have been half empty for a week or two now. They have over flowing pegs of deluxe classes and a few voyagers and far too many Leaders, but practically none of the legion & commander class and HA figures. Kinda hoping that's a sign the Prime figures are on their way.
My Target was all but bare for a while too, but last week they put out a dozen or so Prime deluxes. Shelves are still pretty bare though.

Went to Walmart and K-Mart yesterday, still nothing at Walmart, but K-Mart did have Prime Masks, and it sounds like they're getting Prime and Bot Shots Friday, so that make s me happy.

My local Walmarts have nothing but tons of the deluxe exclusive Optimus, lots of the exclusive Roadbuster repaint, and even more of the second exclusive Prime. Barely any cyberverse, HA, or commander figures. Couple leaders.
You should be really glad you're getting a Target. Mine is always the first to get new figures, they don't overload the pegs with a single wave like Walmart does, and you can take the DPCIs in and sometimes get the new figures in the back. Already got most of Wave 1 Prime figures that way.

The last time my Wal-Mart stocked was December 1st, when I found Gens. Junckheap. Out of the three walmarts in my area 2 have absolutely nothing, while the the other has a deluxe bee for everyday of the year. The nearest target to my house has prime cyberverse wave 1.
Trust me I know your pain and anger. Dear Primus they're out soon at walmarts
If not I hate to say it but I would have to do this to the walmart employes

, the store it's self gets this

At one of the walmarts in my area they have a good variety of DotM figures, but everywhere else is barren. TRU started getting in Prime figures last week, but they're way over-priced. Before that the only thing they had was one deluxe generations Wheeljack and 6 voyager Sentinel Primes.

Went to Target yesterday. They had a case of Prime RID Deluxes in the storeroom (I got Soundwave!), but nothing on the shelves. I wonder how many other stores have Prime RID figures that are just waiting to be put out, but they're still sitting in the storerooms.

My Targets and Y'All-Marts have alternated between shelves being desolate and barren or overstuffed with DOTM figures everybody already has or doesn't want. I had to get a Target employee to raid the back room just to get Soundwave. Why, by the way, ARE they hiding them back there? And in such small quantities, like they're gold or something.
Remember back in the day when stores would actually MOVE merchandise? It went through the store's system like food through a body: showed up on the receiving dock (chewing), made its way to the back room (swallowing), was put out on shelves in a timely fashion, where they either sold or didn't (digesting), and ultimately got shoved into clearance status priced to GO (yep! Poopin'.)
Over the past decade the whole process has gone to heck. Stores will sit on toys at full price until they're literally rotting on the pegs. The retailers don't care that they are creating a log jam (or constipation as it were) that prevents new product from arriving and thus pissing customers off. They are desperate to cling onto every single penny of profit they can even if it means disrupting the normally healthy process.
A clinical study says that an Ultimate Optimus Prime can remain in a store's intestine for up to 4 years. I recommend more new product fiber.

Well, RID Deluxe wave 1 came in at K-Mart finally. (Got Wheeljack & Soundwave, and love them.) Still absolutely nothing at Walmart, though. Every other store in town is stocked to the teeth with DOTM stuff that isn't moving, so probably won't see anything anywhere else for a while.

**** Wal-Mart
But seriously, my walmart's got nothing but 16 billion Bees + repaints, 2 Ratchets, 1 Sideswipe, and 5 Track Battle Roadbusters. Bumblebee's overflowing the shelves!
Stupid One-Bot Franchise.

RID figures aren't really
supposed to hit the floors until February 29th/March 1st. That's why some are hiding 'em back there.

Eh, since they haven't gotten anything for so long, my Walmart never even got that 2nd Prime repaint and Battle Roadbuster. Considering how big of shelfwwarmers they are, I guess that's a good thing.

I can't find one Wal-Mart in Iowa carrying RID figures. I haven't checked them all, granted, but I've been to at least five and NOTHING. All that's left is the picked over remains of DOTM stuff. Still snagged a DOTM Cyberverse 'Ulitimate Gift Set' on the cheap.
Need. Cyberverse. Arcee.

You just need to give it a while. They will show up and be overflowing with Prime Bumblebees in no time. Like people have said, you may have better luck checking Target than Walmart. If you live anywhere Dubuque check the Shopko, I've had luck there sometimes, but that's an hour from Cedar Rapids and I don't have a car at the moment...
I am sure every Walmart over-ordered DOTM junk, and Hasbro packed the wave horribly, so they seem to be stretching it out. A bad move on their parts because people will search Prime out online and other sources since they are available. Leaving Walmart with another glut of toys they can't move since the initial rush of people that most wanted them couldn't wait til Walmart offered them.

So they got cancelled too? No Prime with his trailer?

That's the only one of the line supposedly being released. I think in the week following the NY Toy Con it was reported as being seen somewhere in the US, could be wrong though. I want to remember it was $30.
I haven't seen it anywhere near me yet.

I think that's the only one that survived the cuts. There have been reports of it appearing on shelves on the west coast. But I wouldn't be surprised if didn't make it to the rest of the country, or only appeared randomly in a few places. Hasbro might offer it, but that doesn't mean stores will order it.

one of two things will happen here in good ol' Mississippi- 1. Never see them. 2. End up at Marshalls like my Lugnut, Stafe, and Grapple did, in which I'm not gonna complain about that since they were only 10 bucks each.

That sounds like stores like TJ Maxx and such will probably get him, similar to how RTS ended up. At least that means he'll probably be about half of what he should be in price, which means I'll get him.
On topic though, as I said, still nothing at Walmart as of Tuesday, and since Sunday used to be when they stocked before they stopped stocking, probably nothing until next week at least. Now it's just time to head up to IF to check out the nearest Target and TRU!
