I think they may use the versions of Vortex and Onslaught we see here, but with the 1st versions of Swindle, Brawl, and Blast Off. They seem to be the most accurate.

Well, I think I like them more as individual robots. I like Swindle and Onslaught the mostest. The colours are pretty awful though.

I like the way these things look. Also, we're probably never going to get a perfect combiner out of hasbro. The best ones I've seen out of them were Predaking, Tripredacus, and Magnaboss.

Also: Has anyone else noticed that these guys all have the movie-verse Decepticon symbol?

Vortex in the game is mostly tan/yellow with red on his chest.

But at this point it's just speculation right? Takomy has neither confirmed nor denied that this will yet happen unless it's a sure bet? All the combaticons look great individually in bot mode IMO. :VEHI:

The only one i really like is onslaught, all the rest have something wrong with them either be it coloring, molding or overall look. Vortex would be the best one if it wasnt for the coloring, looks like they were trying for RID colors but decided to use more red instead of blue.

Brawl looks like a remold/retool of WFC Megatron and Swindle looks like a remold/retool of WFC Soundwave.

Like many others, I'm not a huge fan of the flashy colors, but I expect Takara to rectify that in their version(s).

Personally, I preferred the initial gold/red combo of colors we saw on Vortex early on to this new more 'G2' color scheme he has now.

Overall this thing reminds me more of Ruination than Bruticus.

And I thank you for doing so. Ashamed to say it took me a couple of seconds to get that one. (Damned Atlantic divide!)

Yet more cries of "mistransformed" I see. Change the record and just accept that the reason you don't like them is because they're crap!

Eh. In the screenshots we saw recently, he seemed to morph from the purple/red robot to the tan/red helicopter. But then again, my glasses are constantly filthy, so you may be right.

Given that the "neon" colors are a near-match to Energon Bruticus Maximus's colors, I'm guessing there'll be two decos of the Combaticons released.

Fine by me. More chances to get the whole team, plus I can mix-and-match to my preference.

all he's missing is some tacky camoflague markings.

Hello Reprolabels!

I'm genuinely curious to see how TakaraTomy decide to paint these should they decide to release them under their United line.

Hasbro is making a Transformers glossy.
No photoshop please.

I'll be getting them all, of course :)

Hopefully this FOC line will be a very succesfull one, spawning more waves!

Im not really into the colours, I would have hoped that they would have had a darker scheme that linked them somehow but this looks like something from the AEC days. Lanky.

Why is Swindles face so fat? Been on the pies? Looks like a bloater.

Kay I admit that the Bruticus toy isnt the best of the decade but I think it is one of the best TF toys of 2012. Seriously have you seen the current 2012 TF toys? They all look like crap except for a few.

Here's some of the sucky ones :-

Knockout,Bumblebee,Cliffjumper,Arcee,Bulkhead,Screamer,Optimus,FOC Jazz,FOC Prime,Hotshot...The one I listed on is pretty much most of the toys that have been revealed at the toyfair.

Few that is good :

Soundwave,Megs,Wheeljack,Vehicon,FoC Shockie...That's it...Seriously out of 16 toys only 5 looks good. But I still wont buy Soundwave and Wheeljack due to their simpleness.

And only five toys are AWESOME : Swindle,Onslaught,Brawl,Vortex,Blast-off.The 5 toys that combine to become Bruticus. Seriously think about it. Most of the current TF toys suck. If you compare Bruticus to other 2012 TF toys? It's like comparing a gold to a bunch of coppers...I'm just expressing my opinion nothing else.

PS : That Bruticus is one awesome toy. Will be getting it all as soon as it's released.

Hmmmmm.... :-? I thought about it and Bruticus still looks like a crap to me. It doesn't make it any better if some Prime toys look awful too. Actually, I don't think that all of them are that bad.

Besides; Takara is releasing at least MP 11 Starscream, Sunstorm and Encore Sixshot. Those are quite nice TF toys released in 2012. And if this is the best Hasbro can offer for 2012, then I just buy older toys and those (mostly) lovely 3rd party toys.

And it is a bit early to announce the best Tf toy for 2012. It's still february you know.

Well, here's my quick rundown/take:

1.) I think we're seeing skeweed coloring here. These look airbrushed and fake because they're test shots. I'll bet the actual figures are far less...um...Loud/bright. Hopefully.

Blastoff - I love LOVE his alt mode, his robot mode looks good, not sure about his eyes. They seem too small.

Vortex - he's red. Fine. I'll get over it. He looks really good. REALLY good.

Brawl - Can't wait for Brawl, he looks the closest to his game design than the rest.

Swindle - Eeeehhh..something seems off. I think he's mis-transformed. Looks okay, but I'll be interested to see how he looks once I get my mitts on him.

Onslaught - Well, he's thinner than his in-game design. WFC Onslaught was a powerhouse...but G1 Onslaught was a string bean so...I like him...he'll be my first pick up if I get my choice.

Jazz - OMFG WANT!!!!!!! Lol. But really, he looks good. I'm excited to see the not-airbrushed, touched up figure. A more muted white would look good.

Shockwave - SWEET BABY JESUS! YES! Perfect. Spot-on Perfect. I'll bet 1000 bucks he's totally short-packed and impossible to find in store though.

Prime - Meh..looks good, very game-accurate (From what I've seen of FOC), I'd get him, but he's lowest on the list.

PLEASE HASBRO MAKE:

A new Soundwave with at least 1 or 2 of his minions.
GRIMLOCK! FOR GOD'S SAKE GRIMLOCK!
Iron Hide
Others...all of them...TAKE MY MONEY! lol.

Slight? SLIGHT?! There is nothing slight about it! A Goddamn rainbow threw up all over them. I'm praying this is some "official photo" touch up crap they like to pull, and the actual toys are a lot less vivid.

It has to be dude, it HAS to be. Have you EVER seen a hasbro figure THIS vibrant in package? Look at the old promo shots of WFC Prime, he looks nothing like that.

Just wait. And hope a little, but mainly just wait. I'll bet it'll be fine.

If not...I'm going to have the g*yest looking Bruticus ever and I'm going to LOVE Him.

I Don't mind most of their colors, but Vortex is a slagging peacock. PEACOCK. look at his waist, he even has feathers. I'lll still probably get him anyways so they have the ability of sub-par combining. Yay. :HEADHURTS:

I've wanted a deluxe Brawl figure since WFC, so he's a definite buy. May buy two and attempt to repaint him black like he was in WFC... and Swindle and Onslaught look good (except Onslaught's weapon), so I'll be getting those.

I'll probably get all five, but I'm not sold on Vortex and Blast Off yet.
