I'm so buying this(preferably once a Takara version is confirmed) but what is the back story?

Is he just an idle baseformer or actually part of the story in Prime?

I think this will be Leader class pricing..

I think that would have been listed on the box with the Lights, sounds, launching missile gimmicks if he did. Would have been cool though.

It's a really strange base toy though. It sure doesn't look like a base, at least in the conventional sense. Hopefully there is more movement to it than what is eluded to.
