Autobase Aichi has posted a few in-hand images of Takara's latest campaign Micron,
Vector Oracle. The translucent green redeco of
Universe Nightstick is an incentive figure for Japanese fans who spend 3000 Yen on Transformers products at Toys"R"Us.

Most of these figures will probally end up in America anyway. The Japanese fans love these promos because they can double the money they spent selling these things on e-bay. As cool as it looks, Im not paying 50+ dollars on something this little that is brand new. If it was a vintage 1987 Targetmaster, I wouldnt mind. But not this.

We have more translucent Targetmasters than we need in the Western hemisphere thanks to PowerCore combiner pack-ins. Takara can keep this one.

You say that now, but do you know how many special campaign Mini-Con redecos like these Japan got that the Western World never got? An uncountable amount.

I'm still trying to catalog them all, but I'm falling way behind...

Forgive my ignorance, but what did I do?

Just picked this guy up myself. Still not sure if I'm keeping him or selling (I just got paid and was going to TRU even without the promotion) but for now he's absolutely charming in his sealed bag. I may hold off on the decision until I see if I can get any of the other exclusives or if this is the only one I manage to snag.
