Six of one half dozen of the other?

I'm interested in opinions on the importance of different qualities for two copies of the same toy. I bought a g1 scorponok at botcon 96 but didn't realize it was missing a number of pieces till I pulled it out of storage recently (when I bought it there was no way to check a list for the original pieces). I decided to acquire the missing pieces but in the meantime ran into a styro and box that seemed to be a very good price. The styro came with a scorponok missing nearly all the pieces. I'm trying to decide which to keep. Both are in good condition with tight movements and working scorpion legs. The one has a gash in the tail sticker and a stress mark on the gray piece on the bottom of the tail that snaps into the back of the robot. The other never had stickers applied (this seem to be a negative) and doesn't look like it was ever played with BUT the metal rods on the leg sides and grommets on the tail are notably but not horribly rusty.

Luckily, replacing the stickers is the least of your worries.
Go to Reprolabels.com, where they sell practically perfect replacement sticker sheets (often also including the factory applied stickers) for practically every Transformer ever made, including Scorponok.

As far as keeping one or the other: personally I'd see what parts I would be able to swap out without needing to damage anything, so as to assemble one Scorponok with all the best parts, and one slightly less perfect one.

I'm currently 'sitting on' no less than three Trypticons, each with varying problems, and with parts to only make one totally complete. Assembling a perfect Trypticon os to be a nice little project, some rainy day soon.

Reprolabel's Scorponok stickers are awesome. I got a set and did my Scorponok up.

Pics on Facebook if it works.

I was considering taking the legs off the one but the difference is negligable.
Any chance you have more than one right wheel plate? My trypticon has the bottom wheel broken off so I'm trying to find that part.

Here's the broken trypticon wheel. The piece need to replace includes most of what's in the picture but is flat and not very heavy.
