It looks as though the highly anticipated zombie version of Transformers Prime Cliffjumper, AM-08 Terrorcon Cliffjumper, may be getting a new paint job. The figure was originally show in his normal red deco with dark energon infused battle damage, however Rakuten has posted some new images of the figure in all purple. They have also posted an image of his Mircon Arms accessory, a duel chainsaw melee weapon that bears a strong resemblance to movie universe Ravage in robot mode.

Additionally they've updated their listing for AM-07 Starscream with a new image of his Micron Arms partner. The figure itself is still only shown as a silhouette, but the Micron is shown to be a birdlike bladed weapon.

If I can afford it, I'm thinking of getting this, if only for the fact that it looks like Takara are using the 1st Edition Cliffjumper mould.

Cliffjumper looks surprisingly good in blue.

you know, I originally ordered this just so that I would have a Cliff with the first edition mold to open up and play with, but I really like that they are trying to make it a bit more distinct. Can't wait to get this guy.

Hope they do make use of the First Edition mold for Cliffjumper, it would be nice to get a hold of one.

Shame about the obvious bad photoshopping... blue looks good though!

Lets all hope this wasn't a rush job, get the pic out there to keep the interest high, then roll out the RID mold in blue!!!

DON'T SAY THAT! Please, I don't think I could take that kind of disappointment if that happens!

Strange how Cliffjumpers micron looks like movie Ravage and Starscreams looks like Prime Soundwaves Alt.

Interesting, but I already bent over backwards to get a FE Cliffjumper and couldn't get one of his doors to close in properly. No Thank you.

With those mini-con ports on the back, he kinda looks like the BttF car. Kinda.

Great point and one of my fav movie trilogy's if I might add. It would be nice if this is just a early proto so they can still slap some paint on the exaust pipes. But we don't know if this is FE mold or RID mold do we?

Seriously hoping they do this for the RID version. They only thing I want this mold for is the Alt mode anyways. They chose a good shade for the red on the US release and I'm hoping that this shade of blue comes across looking as decent in-hand as it does on-line. Makes for a better overall appearance if I have to do less repainting before applying decals to make it look more like a stock production muscle-car. No matter what though, the horns are history.

Prime microns keep on confusing me. We alredy seen Shockwawe as Prime`s gun, now it`s movie Ravage as Cliffjumper`s hook.
I`d wish to see Cyclonus as Jiaxuss pickaxe, just fo teh graet justise, you know.

Should of had battle damage. Wasnt that the whole point behind this repaint ? And Zombie Cliffjumper had about a big 5 minutes of fame. When they make Skyquake, prepare yourself for the inevitable purple zombie repaint.

Weird. I don't think I like it in blue, because he never looked that way on the show, and he should have the battle damage. Oh well, I wouldn't be buying it anyway. It's kind of extraneous and I cant afford Takara versions now anyway.

ehh thats kind of true, i think if they released a repaint of the normal one id buy it. cause aside from the head, the paint job doesnt say "bleeargh im a zombie" it says "hey i wanted a new paint job for a while, what do you think arcee?"

I could be wrong, but I think it's actually a purple that looks blue from the camera. All the purple on Hercules looks like this color blue in youtube reviews. Purple would make sense I guess. I use Shattered Glass Optimus (KO) to be my crypt Prime (as he appears in G1's "The Ruturn of Optimus Prime" looking like a battle dammaged zombie)

And I'm surprised no one's said anything about this (up to the point I read) - this is probably the closest thing we're getting to the actual TFP Terrorcons. I like it without the damage decals, plus, I bet reprolabels could come up with some sweet dripping/leaking energon and cracks or summat. That'd be very cool.

I might be reading too deeply into the colors, but if that is Purple, what if the idea was less Dark Energon and more to go with the Vehicon colors as a Vehicon Terrorcon Cliffy?

Also,Starscream's micorn is a gunsaber. If you look between the blades, there's a small gunbarrel not unlike Crankcase had on his Mechtech weapon.
