You may want to try this. That is how some guy fixed his.

http://www.danmaher.com/pictures/d/29100-2/2.jpgAnd the little divot that it's supposed to be connected to. This is where it snapped off.
http://www.danmaher.com/pictures/d/29097-2/3.jpgRemove these 2 screws from the back.
http://www.danmaher.com/pictures/d/29094-2/4.jpgThe 2 blue waist pieces will separate.
http://www.danmaher.com/pictures/d/29091-2/5.jpgHere's that nub sticking up out of one of the waist pieces. You can see how it's supposed to spin inside this waist piece.
http://www.danmaher.com/pictures/d/29088-2/6.jpgHolding the little blue nub in between my fingers with the waist piece that it came out of behind.
http://www.danmaher.com/pictures/d/29085-2/7.jpgLaying the blue nub into place for a test fit. Looks good.
http://www.danmaher.com/pictures/d/29082-2/8.jpgApply super glue only to the divot area. And I cannot stress this enough, use a very, very, very, VERY small amount. Basically what I did was squeezed the tube ever so gently to let out the smallest particle amount of glue that could exist as matter and that was enough. Please, please don't use too much glue.
http://www.danmaher.com/pictures/d/29079-2/9.jpgPop the nub into place and make absolutely sure you don't get any on your fingers. If you do, it'll get all over the nub, that'll stick to your fingers and won't stay in place, it'll get all over Mirage....just don't do it.
http://www.danmaher.com/pictures/d/29076-2/10.jpgWait 5 minutes and reassemble.
