It looks like we can add another play set to the list of upcoming Transformers Prime Cyberverse items. In addition to Star Hammer with Wheeljack and Energon Driller with Knock Out we can also look forward to Bumblebee with Battle Suit. This appears to be similar in concept to the Optimus Maximus power suit for Cyberverse Optimus Prime. Check it out in package below courtesy of the hamatoys weibo page.

And another shelfwarmer. I hope we get alot more of these, then they could all combine into a massive city.

So, Bumblebee becomes an instant fan favorite in 1984 by being the little guy that everyone could supposedly identify with, endures as such for over 2 decades, leading to his starring role in the Bay films, whereupon he gets about half-a-dozen toys that milk said appeal by...making him several times larger than he should be. Of course.

Yuck- that thing is UG-ly. I must say the two "Battle Suits" Optimus and B- are terrible. Maybe you can morph them into a larger playset for your cyberverse.

That Star Hammer and Drill set though- sweetness.

however the WJack set and theDriller set look better and better

Is a shame they didnt make a driller cyberverse set for movie shockwave ( hell or even a bigger one ), but we have his cyberverse fig so guess that can be used on primes energon driller set.

Meh, I'm not liking these Cyberverse sets as much as the DotM ones.

I've recently become a big fan of the Prime Cyberverse toys, but I am concerned with how many autobot toys there are compared to decepticon. It'd be nice if the Decepticons could have their own battle suit as well to even the odds... But unlikely in my opinion based off the way Hasbro has been thinking as of late.

but seriously know i know why they banned 3rd party stuff at botcon especially is this is what theyre revealing (sarcasm or maybe not)

secondly i think theres potential for customizers here and im hoping we get a megatron version at some point.now that id get behind.

2 Problems with Power Loader Bumblebee

1. Why would Autobots be using death mechs?
2. Why did it have to be Bumbleebee?

Hasbro do more 'Cons, it is ridicolous that wave usually contain 3-5 Autobots and only 1 con. Do something like the first wave of Cyberverse Commanders and have equal sides

Anyway, these armor suit things are weird, especially if they get no explanation in the show. I'd rather see more bases instead, but I'm sure kids will love them regardless.

If they came out with battle suits named Fortress Maximus and Scorponok, that would be awesome, it would make sense, and it would sell a ton of units. Instead we get Optimus Prime and Bumblebee piloting Optimus Prime and Bumblebee.

And Hasbro wonders why sales drop.

You know, if they stopped with things like this, they'd probably save money, and their products would cost slightly less which means more people would buy them, which means an increase in revenue.

I should know, I watched five minutes of a financing program on tv a couple of years ago.

The weapon mode looks cool from what you can see in the box art.

Why do robots need jumbo exo-suits anyway, and why do they have to make them look like any particular character. They should have just made it more generic so it would be more compatible with other characters. It's goona look wierd having another bot controlling an oversized BB mechsuit

As an old fan of tranformers and bumblebee Im looking forward to this set.

this set will sell enough units to allow for other sets to be built/made.

Im getting more and more excited about microbot sets (the old ones) and these legion class playsets.


It may "shelfwarm" due to the buyers for certain unintelligent retail stores, but i think Hasbro is on the right track and doing the best they can in getting out product everyone might like at some point.

seems like a lot of negativism has been expressed to what is something that i see as a positive trend.

toys must change in order to capture new kids interests, and we are only along for the ride.
If they ever start making serious figures under something like a DC Direct version of transformers I could see complaining more about toys made for adults that were marketed incorrectly.

But I really think adults that also like what are designed for kids/young adults need to be as flexible as possible to really exist for a long time in this hobby.

I mean the Bumblebee suit appears to have a "howitzer type gun platform" for a base mode for bee to fire away from.

Really this isnt far from ideas that put out Erector and other microbot bases.

I see a lot of complaints are maybe just not liking power suits and bee himself.

Me, i like them now and again.
