Once again from our friends over at the Transformers Galaxy Hong Kong Fans Group we have a very nice gallery of Transformers Prime "Robots in Disguise" Wave Three's Knock Out. Check out his photo shoot below, just don't scratch his paint job! Speaking of paint if you want those show accurate yellow rims you better head to local hobby shop.

Man those paint apps are horrible, i guess this is why they dont do them anymore. Another easy pass for me, bad paint apps and the figure itself doesn't look that great. It looks like it might have a good transformation but thats not enough to buy.

I really love the way this came out, physically. It's dead on to the character, really. THOSE PAINT APPS THOUGH! Are you serious Hasbro?! You should be ashamed of yourself. This might be the biggest dropped ball character-wise, it looks like a damn prototype.

Paint apps are horrible, but in the hands of someone other than Hasbro, the figure looks pretty solid in robot mode.

oh yeah, now these pics make the toy good. the stock photos made it look horrible. definite buy on sight.

Looks much better than original pics of him. Doesn't look so bad anymore.

Thats got to be the worst paint scheme ever. Isnt Knock Out supposed to be concieted about his car mode ??? They should have given him a burgandy metallic similar to how they shined up United Tracks. And those weapon holes on the car mode make it worse. Stupid kids and their "must have" gimmicks...

I think the two tone is awesome. Very handsome. I'm glad we FINALLY get a clear pic of his back assembly.

The paint scheme really not what I expected, the car mode looks awesome, if only it had a better pant job. seriously, the rear taillights aren't eve painted or picked out in any way. The the scraped 3 tone deal going on on the doors just doesn't work for the character.

With that said, the head mold totally screams BW Terrorsaur at me.

I'll wait for the Takara version. And since I'm already having to import these since they haven't shown up down here, I'd rather pick up the better version even if its a little more expensive.

Man i can just hear Knockout: "I' m supposed to be PROUD of this paint job?!?!?"

Much, much better. Glad I preordered. However, I'm a sad panda that his window hinges and balljoints will break, sooner or later, but until that day, I shall be happy with him.

Doesn't look as bad as those first pictures made it. The paint is still terribad though.

I'll grab him if I see him, but won't go out of my way to find him.

Very nice fig. Looks SOOOOOO much better. Hasbro seriously needs to fire its photographer. Lately, the stock photos have sucked a$$.

I can't understand the positive reactions to this.

They did a crappy job with Knockout. He's a character where his core trait is vanity and they somehow made both modes look like a Chinese dollar store knock-off.

Of all the places to skimp...

I've never really been a doomsayer in regards to the brand, but our toys are getting worse. This is not the same quality product we got during the last run of Generations.

The vehicle is admittedly horrid, but the only figure in my entire collection displayed in alternate form is Unicron, and that's because he is hanging from the ceiling to conserve shelf space.

Robot mode I think has pulled off the aesthetics as good as they possibly could with the complex designs of these characters. Sure, I'd prefer some more gold highlights, and the headlights to sit on his chest at angles, but I can live with this figure as part of my collection. It could've been better, but it could've been much worse.

After the crap storm that was DotM, I've not had high expectations. I've pretty much come to terms that there will not be a line as accurate as Animated, or as complex as RotF for the foreseeable future. At least, that's the message Hasbro sent when they canceled First Editions (heck,when they made First Editions exclusive to Toysrus, it wasn't a good sign).

What a horrible paint job. It NEEDS reprolabels to look decent. Sad thing is, we can't even rely on Takara to do it right. Looks like Transformers have reached their peak, and it was ROTF/HFTD/Generations...

Anyway, I like the mold, so I'll probably still buy it, but Reprolabels needs to get on it.

agreed, and it makes me very happy. Shame about the truly horrible paint. If they'd not been smart and tried to make the car look...okay, honestly, I don't know what they were going for with the car paints, but it can't have been that...anyway, if the paint apps had been less complex on the car's body panels they might have managed to paint the back lights or the wheel rims.

Still, robot mode is pretty nice, looks like an interesting transformation and plenty of articulation. May well pick him up.

Looks a lot better in these photos than the photoshopped.

at least you could leave the stickers off?

I hope Reprolabels makes a static cling sticker of white paint smears for him.
