I'm looking forward to this mainly because I didn't really like all the seekers looking pretty much identical. I think having Starscream different makes him stand out more. You could probably just get a custom head for the other mold to mostly accomplish the same thing though.

They all had different faces to begin with so you really didn't need new heads.

Speaking of new heads, I think the new one looks surprisingly like the current model in Robots in Disguise! Just a few less plate seams. Has to be a total coincidence though but still :-?

The more I see of this figure, the more I want it. Interesting, the HKD price works out to about $115 USD. I wish it cost that much to buy over here, I would have less trouble coming up with that.

Sorry, I'm talking from the US standpoint. Both Starscream and Skywarp releases had the exact same face piece. I know, because I tried to get someone to cast a copy of the Takara Skywarp one to get the angry face. =) If you have Takara SW or TC, then yes they already have different alt. faces.

I bought extra SWs on clearance to repaint into TC and stuff. The only reason I'm importing MP11 is because I can almost guarantee it will not see a US release and I wanted SS to stand out.

The transformation is generally the same as the original MP-03 figure, with a few differences. The differences (and the cape) are detailed in the galleries linked to in this topic: http://www.seibertron.com/energonpub/extensive-in-hand-galleries-of-mp-11-starscream-t85460.php

If price point and space is not an issue for you, this is a figure I'd recommend to G1-cartoon accurate enthusiasts.

I am still on the fence about it. I personally feel the same way Counter Punch feels about how the Masterpiece line has gone. I will probably be impulsive if I see the toy out in the wild and I happen to have the cash.
