First Edition Prime Arcee arm ball joint problem

I recently got the First Edition Prime Arcee. It's a really great figure, I have a bit of a problem though, her left arm ball joint keeps popping out. It's almost like the joint is too small or the ball is too big. The arm will just fall down when I try to pose it.

It doesn't go all the way into the socket. Is there a way to correct this? My friend told me clear nail polish to tighten the joint... but will that would in a situation like this?

i have a similar problem with my fe starscream, but with his right leg. the entire leg will pop right off the socket! it could have at least been his right arm like when the autobots blew it off in that zombie skyquake ep.

Both my arcee and bee had this problem. For bee it was his leg. I used a heat gun and a pair of pliers. Heated up the plastic and slightly cramped down and held it for 10 to 15 min.

I had the same issue with my FE Bumble's hip. I took a dremel to the socket to make it a bit bigger and it fits perfectly now.

That was my first thought when I took a closer look at it earlier, but quite frankly I'd be too worried I'd just make it worse. :BANG_HEAD:
