Hey guys, just got my MP-11 Starscream, transformed it to jet mode, and am trying to put it back into robot mode. However, I can't figure out how to slide the upper mode back down to meet the rest of the body. It slides down fine, but doesn't seem to lock. When I first transformed it, that slide mechanism was tight so it was pegged into something, but I can't figure out what. When I try to pose him it just slides up now since it doesn't want to lock into anything.
Any help is appreciated!
Thanks!

What part are you talking about? Do you mean the part covering the nosecone that's on two shiny arms?
On the original mold it doesn't tab into anything.

actually that does with both versions of the mold. I think he is talking about the whole torso section that slides along the 2 metal rails?
The original doesnt peg and I dont remember my MP-11 being pegged before I transformed it. Although, if in fact this version does I would love to know.

Thanks for the replies! I made a quick video to show off the issue. It may be just the way it transforms, but it seems to easy to slide.
Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

Ah, I see. On the original mold there is no tabbing here. It's nowhere near as insanely loose as yours but yes, it doesn't keep coming out. You'll have to do the superglue trick.

Both of those issues are common with the mold. Not much you can do besides work around it when you pose him. It doesnt even bother me anymore.

I could probably just tighten the screws if anything. I think the tab is just to stop the front cockpit from swinging back under while in robot mode.
So I did transform this thing properly then?

Bump. Sorry, just want to know if I did indeed transform him properly or not.

I have the figure and mine slides very freely too, just like yours. It does not lock in anywhere as far as I can tell. Perhaps tightening some screws will help.

the figure is fine. Its just how its designed. Pretty much work around it, pose him and put him on a shelf.
