Can you identify this toy?

I was wondering if somebody could help me identify a toy that I used to have. It's a similar mold design to what Topspin and Twintwist used, only slightly bigger in size. I'm positively sure that it's not an official Takara/Hasbro figure, and may be an 80's knockoff.

When I had this toy, my one had a red torso, grey legs, and blue arms & head. I've been wondering about the name of this toy for many years now.
I used to use him as a substitute for Starscream, since I never had the G1 toy as a kid.
