Earlier today as the BotCon TFCC Comic Panel ended we were teased with art depicting Reveal the Shield G2 Optimus Prime in RID Scourge deco with an upside down G2 Autobot symbol in the background. We should learn more tomorrow during the TFCC Roundtable Panel. It looks like the Scourge repaint we've all been waiting for since this mold's introduction could finally be happening! Stay tuned tomorrow.

If that IS happening, I have no choice but to renew my TFCC membership next year. This is AWESOME news.

If this turns out to be a club exclusive I'm gonna be peeved.

What?! I expected Scourge/Nemesis Prime to be retail, or at least a SDCC exclusive to keep up the tradition. This is ridiculous, and yet another missed/ignored opportunity on Hasbro's part.

Ugh, I hope it's not a club exclusive. If it is, I have to ask a member to buy an extra one for me, because I'm not joining just for that.

TFCC exclusive or not, I'll probably bite, I just hope Maketoys does a Battle Tanker repaint for him, I never got the original cause I felt Scourge deserved the Battle Tanker upgrade more.

I could care less either way. Much as a classic-ized version of CR Black Convoy/RID Scourge would be, I tend to find the original somewhat more satisfying for it's size, plus the only figures out of that series I would want to see redone are the Combatrons/Commandos, since most of the figures out of that series were quite decent.

Yeah, I hope this is the freebie figure and not the store exclusive. As cool as scourge is, I'm not paying $60 for something that has no place in my collection... I already have SDCC Nemessis Prime filling the space for my classics.

Probably photoshop mock-ups from TFCC's presentation slides... So I guess the other 2 figures for TFCC 2013 would be revealed tomorrow too. *Please be a wrecker or targetmaster*

For this year's set, they really should have went with Rotorstorm instead of Spinster for the Tomahawk mold. Would have complimented Kick-Out or Kick-Off rather.

I was planning to repaint my OP because I assumed this would be some exclusive. The RTS OP mold screams Scourge to start with, and the original colors were such a mess.

Kind of messed up that this isn't going to be a retail figure, but I'm honestly not surprised. Hasbro hasn't given us a true transforming Black Convoy repaint since Universe 1.0. It's like Black Convoys are always exclusives of some sort. I'm still shocked that we got a mass released Nemesis Prime Botshots figure. I was half expecting to see a Black Convoy Botshots Prime as an Asia exclusive for $60+ on the secondary market.

It must not be a very exciting year for the Club coming up, if they are dragging out a redeco of G2 Prime as Scourge over three successive panels.

Nice idea. Be nice addition to the collection and everything. But seriously, it's hardly an original idea. And I agree with those lending voice in support of Toxitron. Give us something new already. The Runabout / Runamuck set was inspired. Toxitron is a more worthy successor.

Of course I am in the middle of painting Laser OP and the KO Battle Tanker black and teal already. :SIGH: I never seem to win with these...

Toxitron is retarded. He has that stupid neon crap colour and is not a well known figure anyway. Besides, we got a lame animated version last year, bring on more RiD figures, redo Prowl and X-Brawn as well.

Black Convoy if he has the upside -down G2 logo. Never liked Scourge because it belongs to a decepticon already. I still have Black Convoy and passed on Scourge. Combatricons forever!!

Yes! I really liked the old Laser Optimus mold with the Scourge deco. I was hoping they would do this. It just makes sense.
