Dear Forum,

I know that thrust and Ramjet were reissued by Takara through e-hobby and only 1000 were made of each years ago. The price for these has gotten high and I don't want to pay that price if their is even a hope that these two will come out again. What does the board think?

It depends. According to several of our members who lived in Japan, Encore combo pack Skywarp and Thundercracker sort of warmed the toy shelves. Quite surprising even if these two knuckleheads are one of the popular characters in the show.(Though based on some info I get in the Japanese secondary market, the combo pack costs like US$ 50.00......meaning verrrrrry cheap)

What more Ramjet and Thrust. Maybe its a case per case basis? The simultaneous release of Encore Trailbreaker and Hoist, the former outsold the latter (iirc, the first re-issue in Japan of theses guys were like similar to Ramjet and Thrust...similar quantities)though Hoist also pretty much sold out just as quick.

Ironhide and Ratchet.....well 'nuff said for their slow moving sales (they look quite awful in their "Diaclone" forms)

So would the last two seekers have a chance? 50/50 chances, the molds are there but would the sales assure a return on investment for Tomy?

Who knows but Takara likes to reissue the same toys time and time again.

I don't know, it's possible. Maybe they'll do all 3 coneheads again. Which may frustrate people only looking for one.

The cassettes just got done not too long ago. So, you never know who might pop up again.

They will. They've got all the molds ready at their disposal and the encore line seems to me at least to be getting a little stagnate. Twincast and Soundblaster? Really? Why not just issue a 4 pack of new cassetes? Anyway, like I said, they'll come around, it's only a matter of time before we see Dirge and the other 2 pop up.
