Looking for help with 2 Transformers

I am looking for some help with selling two generation 1 transformers. Both are loose, I realize that "in the box" units are worth the most. I have a generation 1 Optimus Prime that is out of the box but is COMPLETE and does not have any broken pieces. I also have a COMPLETE Jetfire that is in the box, I did open the box and play with it when I was a kid but all the parts are stored in its original box. I am the original owner of both, if that makes a difference. Can someone give me an idea or point me in a direction to find out how much these are worth? I have detailed photos I can email or post if it helps. Thanks in advance for the help.

Depending on the condition, probably around $75 to $100 for Prime (There is a $50 reissue coming up in a month or two) and $125 to $150 for Jetfire. That would be if both are complete and in pristine condition.

Your best bet for max dollar is eBay.

You can also track what these have sold for on eBay by doing an advanced search, then clicking on the box for completed listings only. I often use that to gauge the current market value for things.

I'd say $100 for Optimus and $250 for JetFire in the box.

Yeah, although I'd love to take that off you for $100, I feel honesty is best here.

Keep an eye on ebay, and when prices are high bang it on there.

At the right time, maybe you could max it out to $500?

What? It's possible :P

Keep it till 2010 at least. He'll be even harder to come by, and you can get more moolah for him.

In fact, what am I saying? Open him up, play with him, display him! Toys are meant to be played with and enjoyed!

Both figures need ur love!

I'll give $125.

Seriously though, put Optimus up for starting bid of $75 and the Jetfire at $225.
