Titanium Soundwave. I just can't do it.

I have tried, on five separe occasions, to buy a Titanium Soundwave, and I just can't bring my self to do it. I had one in my hands today at TRU, and i have a $10 gift card, so it would only be 6 bucks, and I still just can't do it. I left the store empty handed. I don't know why, but i just can not justify buying him.

Anyone else ever have that problem with a toy? You see it, kinda want it, but never want to give up the cash for it?

By the way, anyone have a loose one that they just want to give me so I will stop having this problem :P

I was in the same exact position as you except without the gift card. I had the titanium soundwave in my hand but I couldn't bring myself to buy him either.

That toy is a piece of crap so I applaud you for passing on it!

8)

I had it and the legs wouldn't extend all the way and it wouldn't stand up.

I Applaued you for Doing that. Diperwave Sucks. If You See Him and a Rodimus prime (Thats The 2 My TRU has And Since they are in the same wave) Buy Rodimus he is worth it.

The EXACT same thing happened to me too, you're not the only one...

I, too, passed on Soundwave. I took the money I saved and applied it to my purchase of the music label Soundwave, who will peacefully co-exist with my Classics figures once he arrives.

Seriously, there are many other things to spend your money on rather than that figure. Show Hasbro your support by buying the good items, and show them your disapproval buy refusing to buy figures like Titanium Soundwave.

Bought him, recalled a friend that had picked up Titanium Starscream for me (not much improvement...), and passed the Soundwave unto him as thanks....

He's a Soundwave junkie, so the crapiness is moot.

As for the purchase problem, I had something like that with Classics Grimlock...I love him, but can't bring myself to get an Autobot unless I absolutely have to...

Sometimes you feel you shouldn't get something because it doesn't look good enough. It was really something in your head telling you to put it back, because it is not worth it all you can do is listen that thing or you could ignore the fact of it and buy it. I have had this problem.

Robot Heros - I want a shelf with the entire set on it... but I just can't buy them, I've tried twice.

I bought him.

Why?

Because he fits in better with Classics than does the G1 version:

I'm hoping the music label Soundwave will fill that position.

I have the same issue with repaints. I have all teh classics except Ops and Cliffjumper and the mini-cons, because I hate them. I can't make myself spend money on ops and CF because I already have Ultra Magnus and Bumblebee. I know technicaly Ultra Magnus is teh repaint, but I had him first. I also got the Thundercracker repaint of Starscream with him, which is fine because it wasn't any more expensive.

I did pick up many of those, they are awesome. Most of them are in some great poses.

See, now look how sharp he looks with the rest of them.:-x

I would rather have the music label, but that's way pricey.

For now.

Speaking of the music label Soundwave, anyone have an idea of how much he might cost?

I think you made the right decision by passing on Diaperwave. I too will be getting Music Label, and yeah he runs about $100.

Just make sure you don't regret passing it up... I saw a Titanium Rodimus Prime in the store the other day and went "nah, I'll get it another time", and sure enough, next time I went in, it was gone.

I bought him for £10, he was on special offer, and i kinda like him. Yeah he has no posability, he falls over easily, but he is soundwave! I never had a soundwave before and he still is my first and i like him. Plus he was cheap so it doesnt really matter.

And yes the legs fold into themselves on mine as well.

If I can get one really cheap later, I will, but I just can't justify 17 bucks for that.

Nice, I am a "Transmetal Warrior" now 8)
