when i say the old transformers i don't mean like all the characters we now and live i mean the ones like cityformers and the masters. It would be cool to see all the headmaster in the main line of prime o]r another series or even in the universe/generations

The problem is, as I've addressed before, that every series after Beast Wars has a lot less characters in it. And even Beast Wars didn't have many in the cartoon. Transformers would have to at least release masses of toy characters again for all the sub-factions like -masters and cityformers to be viable, rather than a random character or two that happens to appear in the cartoon's 20-ish character roster.
I'm hoping for the same thing though, but I doubt it will happen any time soon.

But if TFP runs for years as it was announced, these things could happen some time down the line.

Just keep some hope that the new generations classics line in the next year or two will have a couple headmasters and pretenders in there waves.

Armada had Headmasters (Overload, Sideways), Targetmasters (Minicons) and Universe 2.0 had Targetmasters. They're there if you look close enough.

Well, Headmasters at least are pretty easy. Armada had a few in Sideways and Overload, so there's certainly the possibility.

I suspect we'll start seeing more and more in the Classics/Generations lines as time goes on, once all the Fall of Cybertron figures have come and gone.

I wouldn't mind some more triple changers revisited.
oh oh and some weapons packs. swords, knifes, pistols, guns, and missile launchers.

I've wanted something along those lines since the days of Armada, when Minicons and gimmicks replaced hand-held weapons. But I've pretty much given up on them. Aside from Minicons turning into weapons, of course.

Hey now, Targetmasters are great.
But yeah, triple-changers REALLY need updated. Not counting the Dotm HA Basic 'Targetmasters', we haven't had a good triple changer for a few years. Also not counting TFA Blitzwing because it's awful, the last new mold was Universe 2.0 Octane, I believe.
Well, technically RotF Soundwave is a triple changer...but it's more like all of the modes are bad, Mixmaster has a turret mode that doesn't work particularly well, and tfwiki says there was a triple changing Megatron from the same line, which one was it?
I, for one, would REALLY like to see an update to G1 Sixshot and Quickswitch. For bricks, they were engineered pretty well, I'd love to see how they could be done with more modern techniques.

Indeed they are. Which is why Hasbro should release Arms Minicons.
Question though. How would you guys think a modernized team of Seacons would be like?
I think they would look best if they had Beast Wars Transmetals-like aesthetics with HA basic-style weapon modes and FoC Bruticus-style limb modes.

^ Nailed it. Though I definitely think that they should go with metallic paint rather than chrome. xD I mean, it looks really good, but when I'm having so much chrome flaking on a few of my old transmetals and BM figures, ESPECIALLY poor Ultra class Jetstorm, made worse by the fact that his entire upper torso is chromed. x.x;

nice thought. I bought the reissue in december as I never had the originals and I love the team.

they should give all the old combiners new molds and make them inter-changeable.

that would be nice. the only one it would not work for though is devestator, his body is made of 6 bots as apposed to 5 like the others.
we do have foc bruticus to look forward to. I'm going into joyafolific shock in anticipation.

And presumably, if it does well, we'll see more of the scramble city combiners.

The existence of that possibility alone fills my burning heart with passionate alacrity.

something else I would like to see is a new rodimus prime(voyager) not hot rod/rodimus but a real honest to goodness prime.

more of the characters from the later series of G1 would be nice. I could do with more members of my Mayhem Attack Squad, and there's a few options to retool and repaint some of the more recent deluxe cars into the original headmasters characters. I know there's already been a Classics-verse Hardhead, but just getting Warpath this weekend, he'd make a good Hardhead.
Ideally, it'd be a line similar to the HA Basics or PCCs, with a good lineup of Headmaster/Targetmaster/Powermaster guys, and Minicons that form their heads/guns/etc. But I'd settle, in fact, be very happy, if it was just those characters revisited without their various 'master gimmicks.
