The Seibertron.com Transformers Arms Micron gallery has been updated with three new entries, Soundwave, his minion Laserbeak, and Micron Zori! Like all Takara Arms Micron figures Soundwave relies on stickers rather than paint applications and comes packed with an assembly required Arms Micron. Zori transforms from scorpion to data transfer cable similar to ones Soundwave uses in the show. Galleries of each can be found below.

Man......I want to like this character and he sort has worn on me a bit BUT listen to his name SOunDwAve......that is so iconic and would be so much cooler if Prime decided to add that to the series. I hope MP 13 is Soundwave.....IF so that would really be a statement by Takara and make up for some lost years.

I know it's the proper, show-accurate transformation, but those wings look so short. Glad you're able to unfold the arms to extend the wings.

Hope those Microns get released over here. The tentacle-scorpion is awesome, but not "import another Soundwave" awesome.

Hate to tell you this, but it's merely a Combo Weapon, not a Super Combo Weapon. Not only was it designated as such, the color of the crystals don't match, which is a requirement for a Super Combo Weapon. Star Saber is all Pure, but the Morning Star has Natural (Gora), Mad (Balo) and Dark (Zori).

Wood, fire and water, eh?

Anyway, yeah, I do like that Micron. Going to hold out for the solo release though. Soundwave looks like one of the least sticker intensive of the AM figures, but the ones that are there look fiddly as heck!

Twas my previous understanding that "Combo Weapons" were formed by two Arms Microns, while "Super Combo Weapons" were made by three. My mistake.

But now I know. And knowing is half the battle! G.I. JOOOOOE!

i got a pic request, pose him next to animated soundwave while holding his micron like a guitar

thinking about animated soundwave, zori looks like a Mic Micron. Is there no drummer Soundwave, we have a guitarist, keytarist and vocalist now. (well aware of the irony of Prime SW being on vocals)

I think you can easily mod Zori's tail so then it can attach on one of undeployed Laserbeak's pegs, to have at least one of Soundwave's naughty tentacles, all y'gotta do is chop it off, and stick the right sized peg on there, HLJ's got you covered, as far as pegs and peg sizes go.

This is my last update to these galleries ... I matched the images from the back of the boxes as close as I could. There's about 15 new images added to the galleries of Soundwave, Zori, Terrorcon Cliffjumper and Jida. Enjoy!

Just got mine today, the Tomy version that is. Sure this has been said before but he would be even more awesome if he had the size of the GF Soundwave. And the added oomph of plastic sturdiness. Aside from that, this figure is simply WICKED! He sort of reminds me of the Evangelion mechs.

Oozing of nostalgia for me, the very useless unless the instruction way printed in color decal placement, the hard as hell to apply the purple knee cap decal and the extra fun you get assembling his micron arms accessory.

Another thing, a great sales/marketing ploy by adding those micron arms, buy all the figs and you can build yourself a super weapon or something.
