Nightracer

I know the very first Botcon toy was Breakdown. Breakdown was the Gen.2 version of the Stunticon that remained unreleased.
The second Botcon toy was Nightracer. A Gobot repainted figure from the Highbeam / Bumblebee mold.
Normally the Gobots are Gen. 2 characters but the packing of Nightracer suggests she is a Gen. 2 Decepticon. Can somebody tell me is she is indeed a Gen.1 character or that she is a Gen.2 character as her mold suggests?
Let's solve this little mystery!

I would suggest Generation 1.
The first official girl-bot should always be in Generation 1. Period!

he bio for her was reprinted in the G2 Cybertronian guide. I can't get at my copy at the moment as all my books are in storage, but I do recall that it was the longest of the bios produced for any of the G2 toys. If you're asking the question based on deciding where she should be displayed then I'd say put her with the other G2 Gobots, she'll look most at home there.

I would like to hear from somebody who knows...
Unfortunately I do not have a Nightracer figure (yet) but I am trying to make complete checklists included every figure in the right series list.
Please let me know...

From TFU:
Tech Spec
"A good shot is worth more than a big mouth."
Nightracer is one of the best sharpshooters of all the Transformers. Her skills are almost legendary. She can hit a speeding target the size of a golf ball at a distance of over 10 miles, both from a stationary or moving position. Her vision has a normal and telescopic Mode, with a computer guided visual tracking function. She is cool and imperturbable in even the worst battle situations; almost nothing can rattle her composure. Other Decepticons admire her skill, but are put off by her aloof manner, which is often mistaken for arrogance. In fact, Nightracer disdains braggarts, and is equally unimpressed when someone raves over her skill. She knows she's the best gunner around, and neither promotes nor downplays that fact. She prefers to avoid the complexities of getting close to others, and tends to make cutting remarks that discourage friendly conversation. She is extremely fast as a ground vehicle, as is adept at lightning turns, though she is not designed for rough terrain.
Strength 5, Intelligence 7, Speed 9, Endurance 7, Rank 6, Courage 9, Firepower 9, Skill 10.
Nothing there that specificly links her to G1 or G2 so I'd say it was entirely down to personal preference.

Correct, I did some searching and found that most sites have put her in Generation 2.
But look at the packaging...

Well, I have my answer...
Mr. Karl Hartman himself has answered the question.
Nightracer is Generation 2 because that is when the toy was released...
Problem solved!
Thanks Karl!
