Here's an idea…..Cross Merchandising….if you can find an empty tab strip and S-hook….fill it with those hives, and hang them next to the Lucky Charms and Boys Clothing department. This could promote impulse buys and dwindle the hive population.

Bee is so over killed in the stores it's pretty pointless to buy him even when the stores put him on super sale :/ Usually that would be my cue to grab a toy for Toys for Tots, but with the number of Bee's hanging around, every kid in the damn country probably has him twice already -__- Even if his deluxe toy was $5 I'd be weary of picking him up.

Doesn't help that people who don't know anything about the toys and only know Transformers are popular will probably grab them thinking it's a great idea for the program too. Can't tell you how many DOTM toys (especially DOTM Bee's) were in the Toys For Tots drop off bins last winter. Was pretty ridiculous. I know a lot of family's can't afford to do much at x-mas time, but when the bins are 1/4 - 1/2 filled with Super Sale Transformers you know there's an issue, especially when many of those said Transformers are Bee.

Problem with modern Bee is that while kids do like him, they don't care what version they have. My little cousin gave me this revelation. Between the 3 movies, Animated, and Prime, he has one Bumblebee, and it was from the first Bay movie. To him, Bumblebee is Bumblebee, Optimus is Optimus, and Megatron is Megatron. It doesn't matter from WHAT source they come from. To kids, it's the same guy, and for most kids, they can't even tell the difference between different continuities.

Hasbro needs to take a break from mass-producing Bumblebee, because after the first movie, he's done nothing but pegwarm.

Well to be fair, Prime Bumblebee and Movie Bumblebee ARE the same character.

I joined the Tf collecting soon after RotF ended. Honestly, there wasn't much RotF and HftD Bumblebees on the pegs. However, Mudflap was everywhere.

No, it's starting with DotM that The Hive was clogging the pegs. I'm in Canada and I think my local TrU may skip a few RiD Prime waves because of all of the goddamn FE and PRime Bumblebees.

So ridiculous...

Hey, don't tar them with the same brush, I'm sure Prime Bumblebee would say
"Beeep boop brrrrbpop beep zmmm boop!" to that accusation!

You know, it's mystifying when you consider that you got the FEs, while we in the US were denied them (excepting of course the limited amount of BB, Arcee, and SS TRU got), and there they sit rotting on the Canadian pegs. Bulkheads, Primes, CJ, etc. Part of that monstrous burden you have could have been sold here and thus somewhat alleviated the surplus by dividing it between our two markets. But NOOOOOO. We lose FE and instead get RID cases stuffed with BB shelfwarmers.

I cannot figure out Hasbro's business plan. It almost smacks of deliberate sabotage such is the stupudity of it. Firings need to occur stat.

Just correcting your post here. Sure, I miself was lucky enough to get all the FE in store, except Megs and Vehicon. Rest assured that since the 2-3 sales so far, ONLY FE BEE REMAIN. A whole wall of them, beside that much RiD Bees. The only good thing FE Bee have superior to the very good Rid Bee is it's vehicle mode. So a vastly inferior bee take the magority of the pegs. That TrU TF section is so full of Bees that I will NEVER see anything new in weeks or even months.

Tha't why I resigned myself to trade away my Terrorcon Cliffy for A RiD Voyager Screamers and Bulky. The deal is done and in transit. Yes, I do already own the FEs, but I NEED them for my Screamers and Bulky collections!

By the way, you Americans get Exclusives all the times that we Québécois will never have. So, I'm calling this some sort of equilibrium.

In my area we don't have the problem. We have a assortment of all the figures out so far. Oh and they sell pretty well too, but the tiny ones legends or whatever do not sell as well.

Really? CV toys and Bot Shots FLY off shelves around here. I finally got a chance to snag CV Cliff the other day, I walked by two hours later and the only thing left out of at least eight other toys was one CV Ratchet.

We're swarmed by Deluxe Bees though. =_=

Oh bot shots do sell quite nicely and I think maybe the little guys are over stocked which makes it look like they don't sell. One guy I have yet to find is IRONHIDE! oh and dreadwing too!

I emailed their customer service the link. I doubt they'll bother to look at it, but it was worth a try.

I think we should all post pics from our local stores and turn this into a news story with pics from 100 different stores to get our point across. I'll even gladly send an email with links to the news story to my contacts at Hasbro. But I need pics from you guys to make this happen!

Oh yes!!!!

Please please please do this, that would be so epic :D!

Let us show Hasbro the many tumors of this rapidly spreading and potentially malignant (if it kills sales for the TF lines) yellow cancer!

If all of you go out to your local stores tomorrow and take pics on your cell phones, we should be able to get quite a few stores to get to 100 different stores showing how bad it is.

That is an awesome idea! I will be traveling over the next few weeks across several states (the old school way…driving)…I can't make a promise, but I will try to visit as many stores along the way and take pics.

i love you!

i was at target in streetsburo today. nothing but the waste of plastic.
i would post a pic but photo bucket appears to be down. oh well. who wants to see more of that yellow tumor anyway? now every time i got hunting i will take pics. the walmart near Ravenna that i have been going to all my life has none left. out of the 6 that i hid through out the store they only found 2. and they were not bumblebee, they were cliffjumpers. but they have plenty of DOTM BBs. oh and the pic from today

CHALLENGE ACCEPTED! But I can't do it today because I'm traveling.
