So this may have been asked, apologies if thats the case because I can never get the search to work. (whats the deal with that, just me?) Good friends from college will be in town and Botcon is 3 hours away... basically killing my plans to go except an early sunday trip after a very late night in NYC.

bottom line is: i really really want a Alpha Trion (Sigma?), if that has been confirmed or even heavily speculated as an exclusive (i thought so but haven't seen it anywhere) Any info about it? I would figure that the botcon site would have info since they have all the iacon packages and such adverstised, but if VS was truely a possibility I may have to sack up and make the 3 hour drive at 7am after a long night of boozing.

If Alpha Trion is an exclusive (and he likely is), he'll be sold out by Saturday morning. (more likely Friday this year...)

Unless he's the attendee figure with the Primus package (more likely to be Weirdwolf) he'll be in one of the 2 two-packs with either Huffer, Elita-1 or Springer. There's pretty much no chance of there still being any for sale by Sunday, the whole first come first served notion in play. Evilbay or getting someone who's there Thur/Fri to pick you one up are about the only viable options really.

Hha, I read that any leftovers would be sold on a fist come, first serve basis SAT morning. I wonder if its even worth going down to stand in line for this. I have a feeling these will be sold out well before hand.

Have any pics popped up yet of the other exclusives. All I've seen so far is Alpha Trion.

Not that we've seen. What's expected to be available is all best guess work based on the preview pages from the con comic. The one not mentioned above is Cy Snarl repainted as Cl Weirdwolf. That said the five pages that were previewed didn't show any signs of A3 and he's the only toy we've seen anything of so far...
Numbers are confirmed as 5(+1 attending) for the boxed set and two 2 packs as extras so the numbers fit with what's been widely speculated.

Off topic, but gosh, I can't wait for Thursday!!

Icewilly, I hope, for your sake that A3 is the +1 fig. Then you can grab him on Sunday.

The drive from NYC isn't too bad though. You should be fine to drive down from NYC on Thursday, pick up and make it back at a decent enough hour.

From the first post it doesn't sound like he's got a Primus pack though, could be wrong. As I said above I'm thinking Weirdwolf for the bonus figure, keeps the set all cons and 2 2 packs of bots as the on the day extras. We'll find out tomorrow though eh? Personally I can hardly wait for my Iacon pack, still with international postage and a years club membership that was a weeks wages disappeared so fast... A3 and Huffer I'll definately try to evilbay at some point in the not too distant, although damn how I need some extra funds right now E1 and Springer would be nice but further down the priority list, a Live Convoy repaint would make for a better Cl Springer anyway so if I ever manage to get the Botcon version he'd probably end up on my Cybertron shelf. Weirdwolf, if I'm right, is going to end up pretty pricey. Having him would be a good excuse to grab an extra E Scorponok for some Classics style painting though.

Thunderblast repainted to be Elita-1? Ah... c'mon.. they could have atleast repainted something else!

Now I am only able to go on Saturday and Sunday, so my chances of getting any of the exclusive figures is slim to none. I might have to persuade one of you guys to pick me up a set, I'll pay that person back, of course.
