Hot on the heels of our Cyberverse Evac gallery we now have the gallery for his Deluxe Class figure. Unlike his Cyberverse Legion Class figure, which is a general release, the Deluxe Class version is exclusive to Universal Studios Hollywood. He can be purchased at the gift shop for Transformers: The Ride 3D. Evac transforms into an enclosed-canopy version of the vehicle passengers load into for the ride. Check him out below.

Definitely a few similarities. Maybe they're cousins :D

I checked, and Evac is not a retool of Roadbuster. It's not uncommon for toys to share engineering and detailing without being retools at all.

I meant something like FE and PRID Bee, having almost indentical transformations, but they're both different figures entirely

God, if only Shadowman joined this conversation I'd be at the hearts of the top three TF brainiacs :michaelbay:

Not really. Sabreblade hasnt joined in, and there are countless others in the "top Brainiacs" Catagory.

I snagged one off of ebay. It's a pretty sweet figure. I LOVE the vehicle mode and that's the mode I keep him in, though it is fun to transform and I find myself playing with him a lot.

He looks similar probably because the designers created him based off of several pre-existing characters.

I just went back and looked at the concept art. He was intended to have a blade like Mechtech thing...

Also, it appears that the chest could originally spilt more (The part with the headlights raise up) but maybe that joint was cut out of the final product.

Does he actually have a shoulder mounted minigun? Going to universal studios next week to check out the ride.

He doesn't, but you can attach the gatling guns from HA Whirl & they work decently(albeit somewhat oversized)
The chest "automorph has a lot of mold flash(at least on mine) if it was filed then it might open further. Kinda wish he did come with the weapon he was originally intended with.

If this wasn't an exclusive I probably wouldn't want it. The top of the car is just kind of slapped on his back, and the upper portion of the legs really stand out against his waist, making it look like he isn't wearing pants :HEADHURTS: . I do like the car mode though. A little extra paint, and different wheels would make it look decidedly cybertronian :-? .

I was cleaning figures earlier & realized that the miniguns on HFTD Highbrow are the perfect size for Evac's shoulder cannon. I'll let you guys know if i'm able to modify them to attach & post a picture if anyone is interested.
