No justice for galvatron

Greetings all!!
I have frequented this sight for some time now gathering information when I needed it and it was always helpfull.
I have recently bought the protector armor for hot rod classics though and needed to say how very awesome it is. That and the fact that one of my all time favs, shockwave, is slated to get tge classics make over done alongside the combaticons and are due to hit stores any time now. (right?)
I now need to get my hands on all of those figures as well as a city commander and as I imagine I will have much to say about them I figured id go ahead and obtain posting ability.
It realy is an exciting time to be a transformers fan/collector!!
I love how rodimus looks standing next to classics henkei prime and megs. Awesome!
However, I canot believe that with the exception of the classics galvatron that there is not a figure of this important character.
It seems hat hasbro would have released a kick ass voyager galvie by now. We havnt even seen a third party bail us out with a galvie "protector armor" which if done as good as the one for rod and magnus would be good enough for me.
I can only immagine that it hasnt been done because perhaps he is a difficult figure to manipulate from one mode to the other while still preserving the intended look of his forms.
Short of that reason I simply dont understand why we have not seen this character done well.
Classics is o.k. but we need a true galvatron!! Like henkei voyager megs ya know?
Well I guess that dose it for my first post.
Thanks all!!

P.S. What do ya think of the I gear ratchet and ironhide? Sharp yeah? Wish they would stop pushing the release dates back

Agreed, Galvy is one of the lamest Classics/Generations figures out there. However I don't think that a simple suit of armour will fix him. I think that with Hasbro Generations having a Voyager class now that we may see a proper Galvatron released.

Superlink Galvatron works decently. The colors are really neon, but it's a nice enough mold for Galvy. Energon Galvatron is an even better figure, albeit very large; larger than most figures in the classics series. Although he does look good next to MP Roddy (only slightly shorter than Hot Rod mode).

The issue with HasTak is that they only consider their own products and the Galvatron they released in Universe 2.0 is to scale with both the Hot Rod from Classics and Rodimus Prime from Titanium so to them, jobs done. There is a third party set it upgrade War Within Megatron into Galvatron but even that will still be Deluxe scale.

Welcome to the board! It's a old and often overlooked tradition to tell you this:

WARNING: SEIBERTRON CONTAINS NUTS!

Welcome! If you have the cash to lay down on 3rd party stuff, then, even though this guy is pricey in the aftermarket, as Galvatron, I can fully recommend trying to obtain him:

There is a Voyager size KO of Classics Galvatron. It's not perfect and very hard to find.

It's a pity G1 Galvatron didn't have a cartoon accurate head. It's a great toy otherwise.

eHobby's Anime-Accurate Generation 1 Galvatron will always be my favorite version of him, at least until a proper Masterpiece is made. :CON:

I've been half-heartedly keeping my eyes out for Energon or Superlink Galvatron, since he's the closest representation we have to the G1 character, but I have the Voyager sized Megatron and it's not a great toy. As much a brick as the G1, to be brutally honest. I'd really like a Voyager (even a modern, small Voyager) sized, Classics version of the G1 Galvatron character. I'm not bothered if he turns into a tank, or some kind of funky jet, or the world's craziest coloured Rock Lord. I just want him to look badass posing with Protector, and/or City Commander (if I EVER get my hands on it and the Magnus to fill it). Really, Galvatron should be a little larger than Op or Rodimus, and at least a physical match for Ultra Magnus.

Oh, as for Ultra Magnus, the upcoming Fall Of Cybertron version looks mighty fine, in robot mode at least, and he's Deluxe class (sadly)so if you can't find a CC at a suitable price, you'll at least have a fill-in for $15.

My Galvatron is the Superlink Galvatron G figure, which is pretty cool and kind of looks like his IDW appearances. I really cannot wait for a proper CLassics figure though.
