These things are ridiculously over prices, but if they get severely marked down at some point I might be interested in a few of them.

I like the nice deco on the dinos. Probably not enough to buy them again though. At their core, Grimstone is simply not good. I didn't really care for the limb modes either. The Constructicons look pretty nice though. I might double dip on those. They were the only PCC five pack I got that I really enjoyed.

So just shiny paint equals new deco? OK...

I do like these. The uniformed colours are a big improvement. But they're still PCCs so nope!

So now all the Has/Tak loyalists finally have a classics Devastator for their collection. No need to spend $400-600. Takara hooked you up.

But it wouldn't be Classics Devastator. That already exists

It's kinda cool that Hasbro released the Constructicon set in ROTF movie style colors and Takara releases the G1 inspired theme. Sucks for those of us who like the toy and really want those G1 colors, or any of the repaints.
* * * * * :GHOST: Also, unless Hasbro releases new drones(drone paks?) later on, this is the only way\last chance(?) to get drones in new colors. :-(

The minicons look much better painted than they did in translucent colors. The originals just looked like robot-shaped candy.

I forgot about that thing. It came out before I got back into collecting. Was that a homage repaint or did they really mold that to be Devastator ???

It was a Wal-mart exclusive and was intended to be Classics Devastator(from Energon repaint).

And because Seibertron doesn't have the PCC Steamhammer & Constructicons in a gallery:

He clearly is not Devastator. He is PCC Commander Steamhammer in a powered up mode when joined with the drones. Kind of why more drones would be nice, even if they are just repaints.

Hasbro, why couldn't you do your Constructicons like that? I would have bought them ASAP, and not have to hunt down an Energon Constructicon Maximus/Wal*Mart Classics Devastator to serve as my Classics Constructicons. Why Hasbro?! :-(
