Reissue Dinobots vs. Originals

Someone in my area is offering dinobots for sale but they don't seem to know whether they're original or reissue. I'm wondering what differences to look for to determine whether they're reissues. (I've heard that not all reissues actually have updated copyright dates so dates alone might not be enough.)

The Dinobots were never reissued, so the better question is: are they real, or Chinese bootlegs?

*EDIT* Tho Chinese bootleg is more likely, they have in fact been reissued in Europe in 1991. Well, Grimlock, Sludge and Snarl that is. They should be identical to their original release.

I have first hand experience with the "re-issues" because I first owned a re-issue Grimlock then purchased a near mint, incomplete original from the UK.

Grimlock

1.The box............too new, wrong spelling with Dinobot "Bommander"
2.Molding on Grimlock, too pristine and LOOSE on his torso. The chrome is superb(but his torso part but won't lock in). His head part is roughly molded with unequal "horns", he's got horn like thingies btw in his robot mode.
3.Weapons won't fit. Oddly enough, the re-issue weapons fit the originals' fists perfectly.
4.Die cast paint(red part) isn't too...........how should we say it, fine.
5.The clear chest plate is, well kind of cloudy.
6.The energo sword isn't glossy but kind of rough.
7.This one might be touch and go but my original Grimlock's "pilot" seat (a hold over from his Diaclone days opens, the KOs are locked tight.

Hope this helps.
