I ordered a mess of these things and I just have one problem;
What to name them?

All the other Binalts have G1 origins, so who are these guys?

Help me relate these bots to a Autobot or Decepticon that they closely resemble in color, bot mode look and/or vehicle mode.

16 could be RID Scourge or maybe Motormaster.

actualy #16 would be a better grimlock the the mustang one

and that blue #6, with a diffrent paintjob would be a killer bumblebee.

I have many many ideas, but i want to get some more input from you guys and gals 1st.

Here's what I've figured so far. My actual lists are much larger, but these seem the best.

1. Razorclaw or Sunstorm (thanks)
2. Runabout or Bombshell
3. Ironfist or Bumper
4. Springer or Venom
5. Kickback or Blurr
6. Glyph?
7. Hubcap
8. Runamuk or Ratchet
9. Cliffjumper
10. Nightbeat (of course!)
11. ???? Fastlane? Lightspeed? Perceptor?
12. WHEELIE!!!! or Backstreet or Neo-Wheel (far from the primary g1ers, but is an orange Lambo!)?
13. Cosmos? Scrapper?
14. I already made Prime into Ironhide so... Gears, Inferno, Ramulus, Warpath? Headstrong? Tantrum?
15. Bumblebee or Bumper
16. Motormaster

Call them all cannon fodder, and use them in the background of a huge diorama battle scene.

I only have one so far, the Lambo..and I do really like it. I love the alt mode so that is what he is currently in...

You are right it is hard to give them TF names. I might have to get #1, he looks incredible!!! He just might make a grea stand in Tigertracks!!!

If you wanted to throw in a couple of E-Hobby names:

#1 Tigertracks (yellow 'Sideswipe' exclusive)

#9 Road Rage (red female 'Tracks' mold)

#14 Crosscut (red and grey 'Skids' repaint)


I like your idea of #4 is Springer, but he really needs a sword!! And a new head of course. And some different greens in robot mode.

#8 Should be Omnibot Downshift

#12 Should be Triggerbot Backstreet ( I think this fits VERY well)

#11 Omnibot Overdrive (the Alt/Bin is Windcharger or vice versa) or Throttlebot Chase

#5 Sparkabot Fizzle (although he gives me a Starscream or Thundercracker vibe)

#10 or #6 Triggercon Ruckus

Doing this gave them more validity to me. I may have to buy some more and some reprolabels Auto/Con stickers.

Just looking at them, but I like the red Hummer as Ironhide too.

He may be a little small in scale unfortunately, but I really like the look of the robot mode, and the vehicle mode fits well.

How do they compare in robot mode to the alts? I know the cars are different scales, but how fo the bot modes compare? similar?

Yeah I was wondering how big these guys are to ALTs/BTs.

Well according to BBTS, the 1:32 are around 5-6 inches tall (And I think the alts are maybe 6 or 7 inches...?), the 1:18's are larger than the alts (Who are 1:24 IIRC), so they're roughly 9-11 inches tall, and the 1:12's are 15-16 inches tall... And looking at C. Metroplex, who's 13 inches at full height... I reckon 1:12's have gotta be massive.

I only own the one, but have the smaller Hummer and Lambo on pre-order.

The green Lambo 1:18 is probably about an alt and a half tall, I think... I've been leaving him in car mode (I love the LAMBO), so I have not seen the robot mode in awhile.

When I buy more I will be able to tell you a bit more. I'm looking to get the large Ford Gt (yellow with black stripes), and yellow Hummer, so I can give you feedback on those in a week or so.

I do love the quality of mine. He is quite solid feeling. Much more solid than any of the alts or BTs I have. I actually felt like it would take a lot of effort to break him, unlike an alternator.

Now if I was only not addicted to keeping him in alt mode with a Cylon minimate co-pilot...

eh, don't mind me anyway. I'm just one of those people who doesn't like to see canon characters applied to something unless it's done by Hasbro and/or Tomy/Takara.

I'll spare you my rant on canon kitbashes.

Number 2 could pass for Scamper or an insecticon, if you're short on villians. The green ones, one of them could even be Venom...

I'm getting some Roadbots today (bbts). The huge Ford GT (Tigertracks), the Hummer(Brawn), and the Tuner Celica (Thundercracker).

I think when the orange Lambo comes I will call him Sandstorm...the green Lambo is Springer, so they share being triple changers originally, now they will share being Lambos...
