Hi everyone, I want to create a realistic scaled collection of movie line transformers. I was wondering if anyone may have some pictures or may be willing to take some of a realistic scaled collection in vehicle mode? Any help would be appreciated ;)

What's nice about Movieverse is that only Starscream mass-shifts to any extreme degree. Everyone who's in scale in one mode will still be in scale in the other.

I've got to update this, but:
Image
Image
Everyone here is around 1/60 scale; Deluxe Optimus Prime, Wreckage, and many Legends cars fit in it, too. It ranges from 1/low-50s to 1/high-60s in exact scale, which is admittedly a large gap, but it's as close as we're ever going to get. Besides, the only thing immediately "off" (besides the mass-shifting Starscream) are the tanks that should really be the same size.
No Ironhide or Ratchet fits here, unfortunately. Really need a Scout of those two.

Image
Image
1/90 Scale. Not much use for screen-accuracy, but a lot of the aircraft TFs are at this scale, including Skyhammer and Incinerator.

Image
Image
1/5 Scale is pretty much just limited to these two. And maybe FAB Frenzy (don't have him, so don't know exactly).

Definitely check out the Transformers Scale Project TulioDude linked to. A lot of effort went into that.

I'm once again so very glad I don't care about scale that much, particularly in vehicle mode! It's way too much of a headache. xD

Thanks for the link though, that was fun to look through! Those folks over at the 2005 boards did a great job! :BOT:

Here's how my collection is grouped by scale:

These pictures are out of date but they're mostly grouped by vehicle size except for leader Starscream and leader Jetfire.

:D Thanks alot for your help guys! I was wondering, lets say all the cars would be deluxes, all the trucks, pickups, etc.(maybe some helicopters/planes) voyager. And the tanks, jets, and sentinel prime :CON: would be leader class. Would that look good?

[quote="TulioDude"] and of course we have this pic:

If we go by this picture, then Optimus Prime is just a tad bigger than Ironhide and Ratchet. Therefore The correct scale would be:
Deluxe class: Jazz, Bumblebee, Barricade
Voyager class: Optimus Prime, Ironhide, Ratchet
Leader class: Starscream
==> All cars should be deluxe. Trucks/ pickups/ etc. should be voyagers. This leaves jets/ airplanes/ helicopters and tanks to be leader or voyager. (Depending on which vehicle, since you have pretty small planes.)

Those scale comparisons look good, but I don't really like cyberverse/ legends figures. I also looked through that forum, I saw you helped out there too ;), it was pretty helpful!

Yes, apart from the jets, which would all be too small.

From this picture it really puts into perspective how LARGE Ironhide really is.

Honestly.....that custom pick-up has been beefed up to almost the size of a semi truck. Incredible.

It should be Trailbreaker though..... 8-}

DOTM Cyberverse Ironhide is scout sized isn't he?

This picture is a bit busy, but thought it was cool. I don't think it is a good image of Scrapper though as he never appeared that big in the film when Prime sliced through him in DOTM or in ROTF in the desert scene he looked about the same as SS.

Nope. Cyberverse Commanders really aren't anywhere near Scout-sized. CVC Ironhide is actually fairly close in scale with Cyberverse Optimus and Ratchet, though.

Wow, the details put in to them is astonishing! How long have you been doing repaints/ customs? Also, I visited your website, absolutely love your work! :)

Yeah, he's just a tad smaller than Optimus in vehicle mode, but in robot mode Optimus is much bigger :-?

Great find! To recreate realistic sizes, we'd have to use legends/cyberverse for the cars and trucks, deluxe for the tanks, and so on. Now, I must admit I'm not really fan of cyberverse/legends mostly because of their inaccuracy.

Thanks! My first repaint was Classics Starscream and my first modification was Classics Cliffjumper (hip mod for more range of motion) so that will give you a clue when I started.

Ironhide is shorter but very stocky, OP is taller and very thin. Having said that, they probably screwed up scale as well.

Yeah, I think they screwed it up, even if Optimus is tall and thin, he's still too tall in my opinion.
