I ordered it yesterday, after the Seibertron report went up.
Not a fan of the Micron Arms myself, but a hammer's a hammer.

I read it too. Thanks, hasbro. now i'll have to go hunting for the AM version, which is ofcourse more expensive than a US version would be and with stickers instead of nice paint-apps. Hopefully reprolabels and a 3rd party will jump in for better stickers and an accurate hammer because i really don't like the microns one bit at all.

I got it for retail, with free shipping.I see Prices skyrocketing now for AM-12. You can Still wait for the AM-? Cyrus repaint. I knew Hasbro wouldn't put this out, and what's Breakdown without his Hammer?

Not surprised. Everyone's better off ordering their Breakdowns now. Low prices are going to go to heaven.

Thinking about this, I wonder which of the multitude of toy safety laws this figure did not pass? It's the only thing that makes any sense to me.

It could be that the Micron ports are too obnoxious even for MechTech/Powerizer gimmicks (if that is even possible), and Hasbro does not want to bother remolding.
Any spiky bits/long fingers/rude gestures/collector death-by-mini-rhino that we've seen or heard of so far?

This is pure bullshirt and ass-hat rolled into one. Like Hasbro would tell us the actual reason when in fact the bottom line is $ one way or another. Besides I think us fans were due for another mind-f*ck you know like the DOTM figs that didn't make the states and only so many Prime FE to the states. Way to go Hasbro, way to go!

Figured this would happen, given the lack of any Hasbro copyright marks on Breakdown and the lack of any announcements. Utterly ridiculous that a prominent character within a relatively small cast from a series that's all about selling toys doesn't get a mainline figure (instead has to work with a ludicrously small Legion figure that's in scale with no one), but you could really see this coming. Even if Takara's version couldn't live up to US toy standards Hasbro should've had one of their own ready. Bah.

We're getting those FE's reissued. You guys put on another bitchfest ala the FE raage that was, vote with your dollars, and write in to them. Be heard because evidently they do listen afterall. I figured this would happen so I pre-ordered from the jump and got mine today. He is absolutely up there with the FE voyagers and it's really a shame they've pulled this again on fans/kids. He's a important character and pretty well liked, dead or not we know he's coming back in another form. Cryus-Breakdown I'm not to thrilled on as the general public's only choice here and it's pretty crappy that a U.S.-based/originating show has it's best figures issued to overseas markets first or not at all. It's beyond wtf thinking and marketing, even for them.

See Hasbro, you choose not to release a popular product and everyone has to go to this 3rd Party Company "Takara" to get it instead.

Wait, what? Takara isn't a 3rd Party Company. iGear, FansProject, they are 3rd Party Companies. Takara is just the way Transformers are released in Japan. In fact, Takara sometimes distributes toys for Hasbro to later use, most notably in G1.

Wait, what? I have doubts you can consider Takara a third party company, considering they distribute Transformers as much as Hasbro.
I'm pretty sure it was ironic..

Knew it.
Now why hasn't this been news'd yet? (Or, has it been and I just didn't see the article?)

technically, they are a 3rd party, at least as far as Hasbro in the US or Europe is concerned. Hasbro won't be getting any money off of any Arms Micron toys sold, I don't think. But yea, it seemed like a tongue in cheek statement.

This. This is some BULLSH*T. Breakdown is a major character from the show. Admittedly, he's currently out of commission, but he's coming back. And again. Main character. Unlike Skyquake, who appeared once, or Ultra Magnus, who hasn't appeared at all (not ruling out a future appearance, which would be AWESOME). It reminds me of the ROTF and DOTM toylines: padded with characters that WEREN'T in the movie, while some that WERE got no toys. Here, we've got Hot Shot, Ironhide, Rumble, Kup, Shadow Strike Bumblebee, and they say "we can't do Breakdown." I don't get this.

Technically they're partners, they both use each other's designs. The accessories or paint apps just are different usually and that's it. Can't have one without the other. I do hope this was all sarcasm.

Takara makes nearly all of Hasbro's toy molds.

Well, that fine. Whilst Archer is hemming and hawing and making excuses, RK and by extension Takara just got my money for the AM Breakdown.
Hasbro sure is good for Takara's business!

For the better Prime line molds it does seem that way.
EDIT: Anyone still wanting it, Captured Prey has it for 53.00 before shipping. Cheaper than I paid for sure and a great site to order from.
